	Well, things were "mostly" under control but things are looking better now. I'm expecting tomorrow to be less busy online and more busy offline. We'll see anyway! Since I'm seriously considering falling asleep at the keyboard, I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Things are finally starting to settle down around here and I'm actually getting some writing done! This is a good thing that makes my soul glad. Of course, I need to stop and get something to eat. My PopTart breakfast wore off quite a while ago! I also need to run a load of laundry or two. Skywise reported that his stock of unmentionables is getting low.... Can't have that!

	Morning. We're waiting for the girls' checks to arrive then we'll be off to town. I've already been busy at the sister site, trying to figure out a hiccup in the system. Something that should work -- and does for most of the members -- doesn't want to work for one and if it doesn't work for one it might not work for others. sigh �I'll let someone else try. Maybe that member profile doesn't like me today. Later.

	I got the "must do" laundry done. Starving, need to eat a little something since it's gonna be about 6 hours until dinner. Managing to get some writing done. I'm hoping to get to the "kick the out of the castle" scene pretty soon. Of course, the way things are going, it could be next week before it's done. sigh EAT, Penth.....

	Made some progress on Chapter 5 so I'm pleased. I'm starting to think about the Amazon Cage fight I need to write. Gonna need to haul out my Krav Maga references and figure out what the fight looks like -- have to be able to "see" it in my head in order to write it! Right now, I can barely see my fingers so I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning! I slept a bit late this morning. I needed to. It's been a tiring week! The Prince of Midnight has an appointment with the vet in the morning. He has a touch of UTI we think so we're going to get him some antibiotics and get him back in the pink. Of course, he's not the least bit lethargic this morning! He's running all over the place so we'll be catching whatever he has early. Hungry.... need syrup. Thirsty... need tea before I start messing with the stove! Later!

	Got the syrup made and we'll see how this batch turns out. The flavor is perfect -- got that part of the formula set a while ago -- but the last batch was too thin. This time I boiled it for four minutes while keeping track of the temperature with a candy thermometer. It's been the refrigerator all afternoon and I'll see how thick it is the next time I want pancakes! I'm making headway on Chapter 5 so I'm pleased about that. Totally new stuff that I have to write to bridge a gap that was made when I had to pull some stuff out. It's going well and I'm pleased with it. I've also been having an interesting conversation with someone over on the sister-site. It's given me a lot to think about... Later. Time to write! Post # 15,851

	Afternoon. We hauled the Prince of Midnight to the vet this morning. The Prince protested mightily but he took his shots like a trooper. The antibiotic he got will last a week so we are saved from having to dose him. I LOVE "time release" antibiotic shots... Then we brought him home, dropped him off and took off to do our usual Saturday stuff. We got home about 20 minutes ago. I am now gonna get my tea and get the day started. Later.

	I'm currently wrestling with a bit of dialogue. I know what I need to say but I'm having trouble getting it to "flow." It's an important bit and I wanna get it right. Once I'm done with that, I will commence with the messy bloodletting that comes immediately afterward. After that, I'll need to get to work on the Amazon Cage Fight and the immediate aftermath. Barring something unforeseen I'm giving myself a week to get that done. Then it will be on to Chapter 6 and the adventures of Our Hero in the Temple of the Western Sea and Our Heroine's Brother in the dark and foreboding city-state of Midnight Falls.....

	We ran into town for dinner then came back here to chill until we go back for the fireworks. Might seem silly to do that but we didn't want to eat when it was crowded. Sometimes silly is good. It breaks up the monotony.

	We're back! Just got in the door. The fireworks were great and the weather wasn't TOO hot and humid! Need tea and a couple of the chocolate dunkin sticks we got at the Pizza Hut!

	That's done! I decided to change a minor detail in Book 2 and had to hunt it down. Fortunately, I was able to remember approximately were it was in the story. That made it somewhat easier to find. So now that is done and off my mind, I can take care of a few other things.

	How the hell did it get to be after 6?!??! Nevermind... House, kids and cats! Dishwasher is running and I'll start dinner when the cycle is finished. I have GOT to dye my hair this week. Need to have a photo shoot and the roots are an unacceptable shade of "not red"! So dye the hair and talk to Skywise about fun with cameras....
