	Morning! It's a quiet and peaceful day so far. The girls are still asleep and Skywise is, I think, up at the Guest House so it's just me and cats who are up. The boys are prowling a bit and the War Queen is still on our bed. I'll be getting tea momentarily but it is so nice and quiet I don't want to move and make any noise! Later.

	I've been working on the site with only partial success it would seem. Changing the news feeder has worked. Adding smilies hasn't. They show up on the list but not in the posts and I can't figure out why. The Site Goddess isn't happy. We need a software upgrade. �NOW! All I have to do is figure out how to do it without destroying the site.

	Chapter 6 approaches "finished" and I did a little "text moving" and it looks like Book 3 will be 14 chapters and about 560 some pages using a largish font, single spaced and size 12. That's a very rough figure by the way but it gives me an idea of how far I have to go yet which, at present, is a little over halfway. I guess I'm doing okay as far as "production" is concerned. I should have it done by early next year, barring anything unforeseen. NOW if I could just get an agent....

	Morning! I slept in a bit today. Skywise is working the very late shift tonight so I adjusted my sleep schedule by a couple of hours. 	Examined my book. It was supposed to be a new undamaged book. That's not what I got. It has a creased cover and is so bent at the upper and lower corners that it won't lay flat. Amazon is gonna make it right and I'll be taking the damaged one to the Post Office on our next trip into town. A hassle but at least Amazon is falling all over themselves to make it right. That's something to be thankful for.

	My replacement book is on the way. I'll probably get the damaged one boxed up tomorrow. I might have to reprint the mailing label and I want Skywise's opinion on that since he is my post office go to guy. I'll be glad when the replacement arrives 'cause I want to get started on the exercises. I'm gonna need a new journal notebook and probably a new section in my "Book of Shadows." I've always known what kind of "occult activity" I wanted to "specialize" in. Looks like I'm finally getting the tools I need to do that. Also gonna need a cool design for the front of the journal. The one that's on the front of the book I'm pretty sure is under trademark/copyright which "may" be why I can't find the forum that the author mentions. Anyway, I'm pleased and will be moreso when I have an undamaged copy.

	I just checked, my book is in Indianapolis which means it will be delivered tomorrow. This is a good thing. I'll ship the damaged one back tomorrow or Thursday. I'm not really inclined to make a special trip into town JUST to mail the book back. We'll be in town Thursday and that will be soon enough. Dinner is about ready and that's good. I'm hungry.

	Afternoon. I didn't sleep well last night and woke up with congestion/irritation in my chest this morning. Lovely. I'm glad we don't have to go anywhere today. According to Amazon's tracking, my book is on a UPS truck somewhere in the area so it will hit my doorstep at some point today. This is a good thing. Guess I had better plan on sending the damaged one back tomorrow! Right now though, I'm going to drink tea, have a little something to eat and see if I can get myself squared away here. Later.

	Well! Skywise checked the label for me and it's a UPS label not a USPS one. Soooo.... we have the book packed up and we're hoping to catch the UPS guy when he arrives and that he'll take it, saving us having to hunt up a UPS drop off site. I'm drinking tea and it's helping the congestion a bit. At least I can no longer feel the air moving past the congested spot.....

	STILL waiting for the UPS man to show. We managed to pry the location of the nearest UPS drop box out of their website so we know where to take the package that's sitting here if the driver can't take it. One less thing to bug me today. I want my book. I want to send the damaged one back. And I HATE waiting on someone -- delivery or repair person -- to show up!

	Bummed as hell. Mercury retrograde has started early and being sick doesn't help. On the plus side, I've managed to change that Gods awful "forum default template" to something more pleasing to the eye. If I could just figure out why the new smilies I loaded show up in the table but not in the posts, I'd be less bummed. I downloaded YaBB 2.5 AE last night. �Skywise and I will start poking around in it in a few days. We aren't going to attempt anything until the second week of his vacation at the earliest. We are going to want plenty of time to do this and, almost as important, Mercury will be direct by then..... Post #16,111

	Dishwasher loaded and running. Also loaded the refrigerator with root beer. Now I need to change the cats' water and I can veg for a bit. I need to design a "phoenix" emblem that doesn't infringe on anyone's trademark. It also has to be something that I can reproduce easily in fabric on a small scale. Oh happy day..

	The dishwasher has stopped and I've been making some headway in clearing the accumulated clutter out of the kitchen, mainly by getting the recyclables corralled. There will likely be a run to the recycle bin in our near future, maybe Saturday if we have enough to justify the trip which it's looking like we will! The girls have developed a taste for Faygo soft drinks and the 2 liter and "single serve" bottles are starting to pile up! I'm washing out a few of the single serves so that we can refill them from the 2 liter bottles. Cheaper that way and few bottles to recycle. Spirit likes the smaller bottles 'cause she can open one, drink what she wants and then put the rest back and with the caps on tight, the "fizz" is still there when she goes back for more. Just have to strike a balance between convenience and price. Time to get back to work. Later.

	Afternoon! We took off running this morning, payday, ya know. The first thing I had to do this morning was take some Excedrine Migraine to head off the attack that was forming within minutes of getting up. Even taken with a glass of milk, the Excedrine annoyed my stomach but eating some lunch seems to have helped that and the migraine got derailed before it could take hold for which I am pathetically grateful. A crashing headache is something I do NOT need today or any day! Skywise will be leaving for work in an hour or so, early shift today naturally, and then I'll be getting organized for the rest of the day. Need tea....
