	It did. I just got up from a three hour nap! I feel better though. A good night's sleep is probably what I need and I don't see anything interfering with that tonight so tomorrow should be better.

	Solved a small problem that was causing me some concern with the upcoming software upgrade. It was minor but it was bugging me. Now it's all "fixed" and I don't have to worry about it. NOW all I have to worry about is the upgrade itself...

	I'm reading "Sex at Dawn" and I must say I'm stunned. I must have tapped into some "collective consciousness" when I was creating the sexual climate for my books. Seems like we humans have done it before and what I created is a way humanity "could" have gone (and may yet go) if different decisions had been made. I may be onto something...

	Afternoon! I've been up for a while but Skywise was working on his project this morning and got to this computer before I did! And since I had nothing pressing to do, I puttered around and did some thinking about "book stuff" and "real life stuff." Now I'm going to drink my tea and work on a few odds and ends. I "might" start writing this afternoon but I haven't decided yet.

	Dinner's over and I'm feeling a bit better. I realized about halfway through dinner prep that I hadn't eaten hardly anything today. sigh No wonder I was feeling a bit headachy. Still not satisfied with the query letter but it's going out on Tuesday regardless. I've wasted enough time waiting out Ms. "If you don't hear from me, I'm not interested" Agent. One of the psychics on the sister-site sees me with a best seller. �Unfortunately, she hasn't seen the name of the agent that SOLD it! So I will continue to plod through my agent list while working to develop my own clairvoyant abilities -- among other talents. � Another clairvoyant has stated that he never tells people when he has seen something good happen since he doesn't want to spoil the surprise. He only warns them about the "bad stuff." ALL he will tell me is "No worries." Guess I'd better listen!

	I find that I like to see my name in RED. So I made it so. And on that note, I'm heading for bed. I'm a tired little writerperson and I still need to use my initiation cd. 	We're back. They were late taking Spirit in so we were late leaving the dentist's office. We had "just" enough time to get some lunch and gas up the van. Sooooo.... we'll be going back to town tomorrow to do what we didn't have time for today. Or well, tomorrow is "late shift" so we'll have time to get everything done without having to rush.

	Okay, I've got a load of wash in the washer that will be heading for the dryer momentarily to be followed by another load going into the washer. Wash. Dry. Repeat -- until I run out of dirty clothes. I'm pretty sure I have the query letter done. I'll let it "set" for a bit and then read it over again. So far today, so good....

	I'm not going to get the laundry done tonight. The War Queen hurled on the bed so I had to strip it and wash the bed clothes but most of Skywise's shirts are washed and I just did a load of his pants so I'm not doing too badly. I'll get them in the dryer as soon as the bedspread is dry...

	The bed clothes are dry but the bed isn't made. The War Queen is parked in the middle of it and doesn't want to move. I'll tackle the job after I've fortified myself with dinner. Pretty sure that the query letter is good to go. I'll have Skywise look at it before I print it out. Once it's on it's way, I'll get back to Chapter 6 and get it wrapped up.

	Omm: Thinking about retirement today as it is now peeking above the horizon. Skywise could retire now if he wanted to, he has enough years at the post office and he's old enough but he's going to work for a few more years. The longer he works the more he'll get in retirement benefits but if the post office offers an unbelievably good "buy out" package, we'll certainly reconsider! He's taking care of the "financial" side of retirement. My job, as I see it, is to figure out how to make the resources that we'll have then go as far as possible. I'm not planning on us being totally self-sufficient but I'm thinking that there are things that we can do to make us moreso and the time to figure out the "what" and "how" is now before we're living on retirement income. So, that's what I've been thinking about this afternoon.

	Dinner's almost done and Skywise will be home in about an hour and twenty minutes if all goes well. Have MORE stuff to talk about now. Our vacation plans might be affected and he won't be any happier about that than I am.
