	Morning! It's another bright and shiny one! I'm going to have to be more careful of my eyes today so I don't get into the mess I did yesterday with the whole "blurry vision" thing. I'm okay today and I'm going to be blocking the light from the back door when the sun starts coming in it. Right now, I need some tea. Later.

	This is Sanctuary Control: We have cloud cover, thank the Gods!! I've made some headway with the blob and it looks like I'll be able to save the incident. This is good because I needed a way to involve Our Heroine's daughters with the local constabulary as consultants rather than perps. With that done, I can get them started on the "investigating" that they need to be doing to tie in with what the rest of the "cast" is doing.

	Dinner's cooking. The War Queen demanded my presence earlier and that resulted in a nap. I guess I need more sleep than I've been getting lately. Damn crazy work schedule! It will continue into next week after which I'm hoping that it will go back to "normal" or I'll get used to it! I'll be getting back to the "Blob" sequence later tonight probably and if I don't get it wrapped up, I'll get a good start on it. But first, I'm gonna finish and eat dinner. I'm starved!

	We're back! I held onto my sanity with both hands and managed to get through without losing it. I have two pies that have to be baked for Skywise to take to tomorrow's pitch-in dinner at the Post Office but since he doesn't need to take them in until tomorrow, I can take my time with them. The holiday cards will go out tomorrow too. Right now, I'm gonna veg just a little...

	Okay, the blob incident is saved. I've figured out why it was were it was and what it was for. I've also found a way to destroy it so it's all good. In another paragraph or two, Our Heroine's daughters will have what they need from the local constabulary to get the ball rolling on their research. On to the next literary logjam!

	The first pie is in the oven and I just checked. We have about a half inch to three quarters of an inch of snow and it's still coming down. Not real hard, fortunately, and there is no wind to speak of. It's 30 degrees and it looks like all the predicted "freezing foolishness" has turned into snow. This is a good thing. Snow can be handled a lot easier than ice.

	Both pies are cooling and I'm sitting here with a word document in front of my face thinking about how to wind this paragraph up. I know what's gonna happen, I just have to figure out how to write it. The back of my mind is working on another facet of the same situation and the fact that I'm gonna have to whip out the ULTIMATE CHAINSAW OF DELETE and do some more trimming but I already know what can go in that spot so I'm not worried about a gap in the story. There is another much bigger gap that needs to be filled in.

	I'm currently working on Chapter 7 of Book 3. It's coming along pretty well but I STILL have the equivalent of a short novella to write to fill "gaps" I have in the narrative. I'm also going to have to write at least a few pages about the establishment of the new country which should be a trial in and of itself! But dinner is almost ready so I'll be taking a break. Ah! 	Greetings! It's been a busy day! Which isn't unusual for the last few days before Christmas! Uppermost in my mind right now is creating the layout for the Military Complex that Our Heroine raised the walls for in Book 2 so Our Hero would have someplace to house the army he was building for her. He also wanted his night club to be part of the complex. I'm rapidly getting to the point where that situation is gonna have to be addressed. On the one hand, I'm considering doing it the way it was originally envisioned even though having a rather raucous night club that caters to various sorts of vampires on what is essentially a military base presents some problems in logic. On the other hand, putting the night club some distance from the castle (traveling between the castle and the club is no problem for Our Hero) has a certain appeal from a story telling perspective as well as NOT POing Our Hero's older brother who is the supreme commander of the base! At the moment, I'm leaning towards tucking the night club in a spot away from the castle where it could serve as a convenient gathering place for the previously mentioned vampires and their friends. Or maybe I should just leave things as they are for the moment....

	Decided to throw a cake together, one of those simple "throw everything in one bowl and mix" ones. It's one of my favorite recipes (a yellow cake) and I intend to slather it with my super-fudgy chocolate frosting once it's cool. I didn't feel like making more pies or cookies tonight. Still considering the location of the night club since I have to refer to it in the next chapter or two of Book 3.

	Okay. Serious weirdness... I made a post about an hour ago and it's nowhere to be found! sigh So I'll try again. We went to Floral Gulch this morning for lunch and because Spirit wanted to go to KMart and since the one in town closed, that's the closest one. She didn't find what she wanted but I told her we'd try again after Christmas. Right now, it looks like the Christmas Eve storm is gonna track south of us so we won't get a ton of snow. I don't mind some snow on Christmas just as long as it doesn't make it difficult for Skywise to get home! Now, we'll see if THIS post goes up....

	I've goofed off today as far as writing is concerned but I did get an idea for a scene that will lead into another pivotal incident so it is all good. Instead of sitting at the computer I settled down and watched a couple of belly dance instructional dvds. I got some good ideas and spent three enjoyable hours. Now I'm IMing with Nike and solving the world's problems...

	Skywise is getting ready for work. He "should" bring home the check tonight and there probably won't be overtime tonight or tomorrow since anything mailed now won't be delivered by Christmas unless it's Express Mail or Overnight. Just today and tomorrow to go and then we can basically relax until April 15th...
