	I GOT OUT OF WAL-MART ALIVE!! It was payday so we HAD to go into town and I swear even the grocery section was INSANE! I am now going to make myself some fresh tea and eat my favorite cookie which was in the store today after an absence of several years. Merry Christmas to me!

	I'm thinking that a nap is in order or I'm not gonna make it to bedtime. I woke up too early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Then after I DID finally go back to sleep, Spirit came into the bedroom to wake us up. I suspect that it was a full dress rehearsal for tomorrow morning.... Anyway, a nap sounds good so off I go! 	I'm back and feeling much better after a nap! Now I need to get busy in the kitchen making cinnabons for tomorrow's breakfast although some will probably be eaten tonight!

	I'm annoyed with myself! I forgot that I needed cinnamon and I only have enough for half the number of rolls I usually make. snark! At least I have enough for a "regular" batch... Right now, I'm waiting for the yeast to proof. Smallville is a repeat tonight so I'm going to make rolls while catching the action as I can. I also need to skin under the Christmas tree and fix the tree skirt before I put the presents under it. The boycats have thoroughly messed it up!

	Breakfast is over and Skywise has taken the boycats out for a walk although I suspect that some time will be spent in the Guest House. It's warm up there and there are still a ton of places for a curious kitty to explore! Tonight's roast is in the crockpot so I have a few hours before I need to start thinking about the rest of dinner. I still have to clean up after last night's roll baking but that shouldn't take too long. I'm gonna spend some time with Book 3 before I start on that. I'll be back, the DarkLord and his Lady call!

	The War Queen is a sneaky, ebil kitty! About 3 hours ago she came in here and started glaring at me. The message was obvious. "You WILL lay down with me and we WILL cuddle!" So I go into the bedroom, lay down, pull the covers over me and she lays down on top of me and we cuddle. She purrs.... and I fall asleep for two and a half hours. I just work up a little while ago. So the dishes aren't washed, the kitchen isn't cleaned up and no progress has been made on Book 3 but I guess I needed the sleep. NOW I get to go finish dinner. Later.

	Morning! For a few minutes anyway! It's cold and partly sunny here and we're planning on a quiet day at home. We're having NONE of that going out in the "Day After Christmas" Insanity that is no doubt in full swing at the local Wal-Mart! Tomorrow is soon enough for that!

	I'm currently making tacos using a recipe for seasoned meat that is supposed to taste like Taco Bell. Since Spirit loves the meat filling Taco Bell makes, she pesters us weekly for "three tacos, no toppings!" which aren't always possible to get! Moonie likes Taco Bell too so if this filling lives up to the hype, I'll be learning to "cook Taco Bell!"

	The filling was a success and I've been instructed to make more at a presumably near future date. There has been much loose talk about tortillas, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, sauce and suchlike stuff. I think I'm gonna be learning to "cook Taco Bell"!

	Afternoon! (Just!) I slept in a bit this morning. The post-Christmas schedule is in effect -- for this week at least. There will be some late nights but not too late -- only a couple of hours later than Skywise's early shift. I can work with that! 	Afternoon! We ran off to town first thing to resupply a few things and pay the electric bills. We got what we need to see in the New Year and I picked up a few odds and end that I'll need to make some of the gear I need for my psychic experiments. I got a bright idea last night on how I might increase the effectiveness of my affirmations so now I'm hot to build the apparatus I need to test my theory. The "Dark of the Year" looks to be busy! 	I'm a tad annoyed. One of the things I got today for my psychic experiments isn't going to work! Poop! Fortunately, Skywise will be able to use it sooner or later when he starts "daisy-chaining" game systems again so I put it back in its package to protect it and he's gonna help me find what will work the next time we're somewhere that sells that sort of stuff. I don't need it RIGHT THIS SECOND so there isn't any urgency to the hunt.

	I'm IMing with Nike. Got some of those dishes washed and a few other things done. Gonna start dinner in a couple of hours and I'm real glad that Skywise will/should be home at 1:30 am instead of 3:30!

	I have just -- as in the last half hour -- discovered a MASSIVE time line glitch in what will be Chapters 8 and 9 in Book 3. It comes from "spreading out" the action that covers weeks but was originally written over a course of a few days. Consequently, action has to be moved around, rewritten to fit and generally pummeled into submission! But NOT tonight. This little writerperson is tired and this isn't going to be fixed in a couple of minutes, a couple of weeks is closer to it since I'm going to have to write it, go over it and probably write it again. So I'm going to be sensible [STOP LAUGHING!!] and pack it in for the night. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! I know, I'm late! I've spent the morning and the afternoon disassembling Chapters 8, 9 and now 10 and sorting them into separate word documents by date. Once I've gotten completely through this section (143 pages) I'm going to paste it all the separate word documents into another word document and THEN, I'll be able to start getting things straightened out! Right now, though I think I'm going to have to eat something more substantial than a donut. I wanted to get through the whole thing before quitting but I'm starting to fade a bit too much. sigh I SO need someone to shove food under my face when I'm writing...
