	I've got everything (I think!) patched together and I've started on getting things straightened out. Working on a document separate from the main one is much easier on my nerves! I had a sandwich but I should probably eat again and then tackle the dirty dishes sitting in the sink. sigh At least I made some headway in straightening out this mess. On a happy note, the belly dance dvd I was expecting came today and I'm looking forward to watching it.

	Got some laundry done, got some dishes done and I'm working on getting Book 3 straightened out. I'm hoping to get the BIGGEST rough edges knocked off tonight with "fine tuning" it for a long as it takes. When I have it how I want it in the "temporary" document, I'll transfer it into the "main" one. I'm hoping that the "freezing whatever" predicted for tonight doesn't materialize. I'm so NOT wanting to deal with it or having Skywise deal with it on the way home!

	Nike's on YaHoo so I've stopped pummeling Book 3 into submission for the moment anyway. I've got a couple of things I need to do for tomorrow and dinner still to fix. Skywise will be going in at 1:30 tomorrow and has Friday off! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!

	Afternoon! It's been a hectic day so far with "stuff" that had to be done before Skywise left for work. He's on his way now so I'm expecting things to settle down somewhat. I will now get something of the chocolate persuasion -- WHICH I REALLY NEED!! -- and then get back to work on Book 3.

	I'm continuing to move stuff around on the timeline. It's not very creative but it's necessary and better to do it now than later! I've been sitting here with my hair in a towel so I suppose I should go at least put the wet towel up and put my sweater back on. It isn't QUITE warm enough to go around with wet hair in a teeshirt...

	The hair is almost dry and I'm STILL finding stuff that needs to be moved. I'm on YaHoo with Nike while I'm working. I'm gonna need to start dinner soon, Skywise expects to be home around midnight or half past tonight.

	Afternoon! We took off running this morning and just got home a little while ago. I've been checking the radar. It's New Year's Eve in Indiana and the temp is in the low 60's. There is also a storm front in Illinois. That does NOT bode well so I'm a little nervous this evening. In case I get knocked off later this evening, HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!

	The cupcakes and dinner are done. The rain is in the area but it keeps missing us. It's settled down considerably from what went through Missouri and Illinois today and I'm not expecting much in the way of "noise" tonight. I've been working on Book 3 tonight, not writing much but getting necessary editing done. A few minutes less that 2 hours to go....

	2010 is almost gone and 2011 almost here. The rain HAS arrived and I expect that it will be raining for the rest of the night to judge from the radar. If it was as cold now as it was on Monday, we'd be looking at a respectable snowstorm.

	Afternoon! I won't be on much before 4 pm local. A never to be sufficiently swore at ad somehow managed to hide in my browser at eat an unacceptable amount of our megabyte allowance last night after it was refilled so we have a very thin margin right now. So I'm staying offline until it refills at 4. Everything is okay here so no one needs to worry. I'll be back later.

	Afternoon! We got our "refill" on time although it was 25 megabytes short. Apparently, our provider has decided to reduce our allowance by that amount without informing us of the fact. We're due for renewal in 2 months, we'll be how things look by then. If we can afford it, an upgrade could be in our future. I've been working on Book 3 this afternoon and the stuff I already have comes out to 14 chapters. Since I have a section of time between the end of one "adventure" and the handfasting, I want to cover some of the necessary aspects of setting up a country. So ending up with 15 or 16 chapters isn't out of the question. I'm gonna try not to be too long winded. I also want to set the stage for Book 4. It's not plotted yet but I know -- broadly -- what is going to happen so I can throw out some foreshadowing in Book 3. But first, I gotta get this mess of posts looking like something that resembles a first draft. Back to work!

	YAY! After the detour into Chapters 8, 9 and 10, Chapter 7 is done. And, thanks to the detour, Chapters 8 and 9 should be in pretty good shape too. By my quick and dirty calculations, I'm about halfway through Book 3. I deserve a cookie or two....

	Chapter 8 is looking pretty good. I should have it done in a couple of days, less if I work on it steadily but I need to spend some time on the dishes and the laundry so I'm thinking probably Monday before it's done. �Anyway, I'm calling it a night. 	I've been fooling around with wood this morning. I need to be building apparatus for my experiments and I've been working out the details this morning. MUCH going up and down the stairs (I keep the drills and saws down there) but I'm pretty sure I have everything figured out. The trickiest part was figuring out how to do the jacks. Now that I have had problem taken care of, it's just a matter of drilling the necessary holes and gluing things up before I start assembling the apparatus. I have a number of things to build so I hope we get to the craft store soon! Now, though, I think so food is in order. What to fix....

	Chapter 8 is now done and I'm ready to start on Chapter 9. It probably won't go as fast as 8 did but at this rate, I would have a first draft by spring which would please me greatly. Now if I could just get some other matters to go as well I'd be a very happy girl! Oh well, perseverance and all that. I do NOT do "give up!"

	I'm about halfway through Chapter 9. Both 8 and 9 will need to have new material added but I've gotten the timeline straightened out and I'm converting the posts into text. I'll probably work through Chapter 10 before I go back and write the new material for those chapters. Gonna be starting dinner soon and I'll have to stop but that's okay. I've made good progress today.

	I've finished converting Chapter 9 from posts to text. Chapter 10 needs a LOT of that sort of editing so I've stopped for the night -- most likely -- and I'll be getting dinner on as soon as the oven is hot enough. I'm mentally making notes of what I have to do with the new material in these chapters. I'm already getting an idea for a cool scene for Our Heroine's Brother along with a bunch of other stuff I need to do with him (minds out of the gutter, people!) and with Our Heroine's Daughters and their long suffering bodyguard upon whom they have carnal designs..... I'm ebil...
