	I've been IMing with Nike and working on Book 3. I have nine days to fill which I'll use to introduce a new continuing character and get caught up with a character that will be killed later on, much to my unreserved delight. But not tonight. I'm sleepy and my eyes are watering so it's time for me to head out. Everyone sleep well, be safe and keep warm!

	Finally broke down and took something. I woke up with a spasm in my left hip this morning, probably caused by forgetting my knee brace yesterday and none of my usual remedies worked so I had to resort to painkillers. I've been working on a piece of apparatus I need and looking online for the raw materials that I need for another one. I'm seriously considering making that piece from absolute scratch if I can't find anything suitable. The idea does NOT fill me with joy -- a lot of stuff to figure out -- but it may end up being the best option to get what I want. sigh

	Heading out. I got some new material written today which pleases me. I'd have gotten more done if I hadn't had to stop to cook! I also got some laundry done -- which I need to get hung up! -- and fooled around with some plastic canvas. The next couple of days look to be interesting weatherwise. If I'm not around much it's because snow is interfering with the satellite link so don't worry. Nite all, everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning! I know. I'm up early for me but I woke up with a slight headache and couldn't go back to sleep so here I am. There is undoubtedly a nap in my future! 	We went to town this morning to make sure we had everything we need and I've been waiting for the storm to arrive. Took a nap that I needed, did some thinking and worked on a small project that keeps my hands busy so I won't bite my nails. I'm hoping that I'll be more "settled" tomorrow so I can get some writing done.

	Morning! We have snow -- 3.5 inches so far. Skywise is taking advantage of a break in the action to start clearing the sidewalk off. It's light and fluffy stuff so he's using the broom. Right now, I'm going to get some tea and get caught up.

	The snow has stopped but it's still cloudy, thank goodness! When the sun does come out, it will be like the inside of a lightbulb out there and not much better in the house! Skywise says we have 3.5 inches of snow with about 4 in spots. This stuff is so fluffy that he was able to clear the walk with the broom. Here's hoping that the wind doesn't pick up 'cause if it does, it's gonna drift all over the place.

	It's still flurrying a little bit but the county trucks have been through so Skywise had no trouble getting out of here. He called once he was on the highway to give me a road report and while it is still a bit of a mess, he wasn't having trouble getting where he needed to go. So now, I should probably eat something. Now that I know he's not going to have trouble getting into work, I'm hungry.

	The War Queen is a sneaky kitty. She thinks that because she can sleep all day I should too. sigh I went into the bedroom to read a little, she wanted a cuddle and next thing I know, it's two hours later. I probably needed the sleep but it sure cuts into to my day! Need more tea and to check the radar..

	Things are quiet although the wind is supposed to pick up later. I've been doing some "background" work for the books, writing references actually. Not what most would consider "writing" but when you are working in a world of your own creation, ya gotta have your ducks in a row.

	SCREAM!!!!! Skywise got home half an hour ago. He has to work BOTH DAYS this weekend AND the holiday!! He won't get a day off until the 22nd -- IF they don't need him to work! The first check in February is gonna be a doozy, no question BUT I WANT MY LOVER, DAMN IT!!!!

	Still growling and heading out. It looks like the Olympic Pantheon for the books will number between 40 and 50 deities -- and that's cutting it some. I haven't even started on the Egyptian and Norse pantheons yet and barely touched on the ones I'm creating for the series. Anyway, I'm gonna take my grumpy self to bed. 	Morning! I woke up about 30 minutes ago and got out of bed 10 minutes later. Skywise let me sleep in. We're planning on doing our "Saturday stuff" on Friday since he'll be going in late on Friday and early on Saturday so we're not planning on going anywhere in the morning until Friday. We had more snow last night and the wind picked up so the walk needed clearing again this morning. How long it will stay cleared is another question. The sun is trying to come out so we have the curtains pulled on the south side. The north side ones are gonna be closed too if the sun makes it out! Right now, I'm going to get some tea and get caught up.

	I'm trying to figure out a bit of business for Book 3. I know what will be done, I'm just haven't figured out the best way to do it. I also need a reason for a very young but streetwise girl to be going home alone very late at night. This is necessary so that an attempt to kidnap her can be foiled by Our Heroine's brother who is also ..... well... you'll find out when you read Book 3!

	Unexpected errand tomorrow. The battery on the car is getting a tad cranky in this cold weather and we can't remember when we got it. Sooooo... it will be off to town tomorrow to get a new one. Skywise will put it in himself so we will only have to pay for the battery. Oh well, at least he goes in late tomorrow so he'll have time to do it.

	Afternoon! We took off first thing this morning to get a battery for the car which, I think, Skywise is installing now. He has time 'cause he has the late shift tonight so I'm gonna be on late. Gods willing, I'll get some writing done this evening before I make dinner. Right now, I'm going to make some tea and have a couple of Oreo Double Stuffs before I pull up a word document and start figuring out where it's gonna go next.

	Not having a whole lot of luck in puzzling out my two main issues with the current chapter and I'm not wanting to leave them to work on something else just yet but I will if I can't come up with something soon. sigh Need to start dinner pretty soon and tomorrow is going to be very busy. Maybe thinking about that and what the weather is going to be on Saturday is what is blocking me.

	I've been working on Book 3 and making a little progress. I think I'm going to knock off for a while and write in my journal. I need to get it caught up and there are things that cannot be trusted to be recorded online, no matter how "secure" a place is.
