	We're back and the morning WAS busy. We didn't get everything done that we wanted to but everything that HAD to get done, was so it's good. We can head up again mid-week and finish up then. Right now, I needz some tea!

	I got the tea and I've been getting some "non-writing" projects finished up so I can get them off my plate -- and get MORE projects onto the plate! Also doing some thinking and listening to some music that helps with that thinking! I'm shifting certain gears right now and that's gonna take some adjustment, which will take a bit of time. How much, I don't know. I need to change my way of thinking and that sort of thing usually takes a bit of time.

	Morning. I ache. That's why I'm up so early, I ache too much to sleep so it is gonna be tea, a bite to eat and painkillers in my immediate future. I'll have to catch a nap later since Skywise has the "super late" shift tonight, otherwise I won't make it. The first paycheck in February is going to be awesome but, damn it, I'd rather have HIM!

	We're back. We made a quick trip into town to pick up a few things in advance of the uncivilized weather that is forecast for the coming week and Skywise's "variable" work schedule. sigh I'm not one to "wish my life away" but I'll be glad when it is NEXT weekend when, hopefully, he will have both days off!

	Skywise is off to work and I have strict orders to dye my hair this week. I promised that I would as soon as the next wave of meteorological foolishness is outta here. The LAST thing I want is to have my head covered in hair color when the lights go out! Out here, no electricity means no water! So, I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather and when it looks good, I'll start the process. I "should" be back to full red haired glory by next weekend. I hope so, the roots are getting entirely too noticeable!

	Good morning! We have weather moving in for today and tomorrow. At present they are saying "wintery mix" and no watches or advisories have been issued yet but I expect some later in the day. The temperature is gonna be hovering about freezing until late Tuesday/early Wednesday when it will start dropping like a rock. Oh joy. The point is, things might get a little hairy around here -- power outages and satellite interference are possible -- so if I'm a no show for a while, don't worry. I'm just sitting here without power or satellite service. Right now, I'm gonna go get my breakfast!

	Skywise is home. The Open Source Code driver that he downloaded for the printer is working like a dream. Merry hell has stopped breaking loose elsewhere -- for the moment at least -- and hopefully the crazy causing the trouble will be in a straitjacket by morning! (That's probably a forlorn hope but a girl can dream, can't she?) There is nothing like having to suddenly go to "Red Alert" when it is the furthest thing from your mind! Fortunately, I've had practice! Anyway, things have calmed down and I'm gonna head out while I can! Everyone sleep well, keep warm and be safe.

	Morning. It's 40 degrees with rain and fog this morning. Gotta love winter in Indiana. Fortunately, the rain didn't show up until the temperature was well above freezing so the roads are wet but passable and the power is obviously still on. But never fear, we should have several inches of snow on the ground by the weekend... Anyway, I'm getting caught up before I get busy doing other stuff. Need more tea...

	I've added about two and a half pages of new material to Book 3, did some cleaning, washed my hair and I've gotten dinner started, plus the research the new material required. I still have a lot to add before I get to the opening scene in the next chapter but I'm making some progress. The next thing I need to explore is Our Hero's training in Mind Control and Manipulation...

	We got back from town a couple of hours ago and I'm currently making myself crazy and cross-eyed checking on the weather! I think that I'm going to haul myself off of the computer for a while and rest my eyes or do SOMETHING that has nothing to do with "storm prep." I'm going to dye my hair after Skywise leaves for work so that should keep me occupied for an hour and a half at least... Post # 17,017

	I got my hair dyed, loaded a bunch of photos of well built young men onto USS for the pleasure of my fellow female members (sometimes being an admin can be FUN!) and I'm about halfway through my first try at making pasties -- the kind dancers wear, not meat pies -- for a photo session with Skywise. I've been dared to post pictures of my upper story and since I'm not adverse to doing so as soon as I can get these little devices to work properly, the pictures will be taken and posted! Yeah, I AM, now and forever, an Evil Woman...

	Skywise is on his way and I'll be walking the floor until he calls me from work. The highway he uses is closed to the south of us but open northbound to Indianapolis so he "should" be able to get to work eventually. The snow is picking up and our signal strength is dropping so I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stay online. Oh well, as long as the power stays on, I'm not gonna complain...
