	Skywise made it to work okay and I've been keeping busy. Working on dinner right now. He thought he'd be getting off work at 11 or 11:30 but if ther is overtime, it will be later. He's supposed to call when he starts out. I hope he remembers.

	Afternoon! We're back from payday shopping. My left knee felt like it had been hit by a 2 x 4 at least -- these "industrial strength snow boots don't help! -- but I took 1000 mg of aspirin about ninety minutes ago so I'm getting some relief. The sun is out and it is BRIGHT out there! And it has been in the single digits most of the day. We may get into low double digits before the temperature drops again. The predicted drifting hasn't materialized yet and I'm hoping that it won't. Drifting we don't need. What "I" need is to get these boots off and to avail myself of the Krispy Kreme donuts Spirit threw into the cart at the grocery. Later!

	Got the boots off and my knees feel somewhat better. Probably a combination of the aspirin and not walking any more than necessary since we got home. I'm going to have to start moving soon though. I need to do some laundry and think about dinner. I've also been thinking about what Our Hero is doing at this particular place in the story and some ideas are beginning to take shape.

	I finally gave up and got into bed with the War Queen. In addition to being cold, my left leg was hurting. So I laid down and woke up about an hour ago. sigh At least I'm warm and my leg has stopped hurting. NOW I get to get caught up on what I was supposed to be doing while I was sleeping!

	Morning! I slept in this morning while Skywise worked on the computer. It's peaceful and quiet today, so far. We have mostly cloudy skies, 3.5 inches of snow on the ground and it is 17 degrees. I've had some breakfast already and the dishwasher is loaded and running so I'm fully justified in sitting in front of the computer with my tea prowling around the web! Later!

	Dinner's cooking and it has been a quiet, peaceful day with absolutely NOTHING that we had to do and NOWHERE we had to be. THAT was a good thing! Right now, I'm fooling with some ideas concerning "operations" utilizing the Ten of Swords and The Tower. Ya never know when you'll need a convincing sounding spell for a story....

	Well, the problem of how to keep my custom pasties on for my photo shoot looks to be solved. I just have to wait for it to arrive. Need to embellish the pasties too. Skywise says that they need to be decorated and I'm thinking that some of my favorite bright "blood" red beads would be just the thing.

	Afternoon! I've been busy with stuff today, hence my lack of posting. I'm getting a few small, niggling things done so I can get myself back into a routine. I need to start getting queries off again and I'm hoping to get that done tomorrow or the next day. I need to rewrite the query letter for one of the queries that will be going out and that will take a bit of thought. Right now, since the girls have STOPPED using up the hot water, I need to get some laundry going!

	Well, I've made a good dent in the laundry and I've gotten my next query letter written. I "should" be able print it tomorrow and get it sent off. It's just a query -- the agent doesn't want to see more at the outset -- so I won't have to print any additional materials. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get a new copier soon so I can run off a "master copy" and duplicate it as necessary to send out.

	Afternoon! Skywise has been on the computer this morning and he let me sleep in which was nice 'cause it is a cold, gloomy January day here that isn't good for much other than sleeping or curling up with hot chocolate -- which I may just do later! He's still testing the printer so my query will go out tomorrow. I told him that I needed to get it out so he'll get his testing finished up in time for me to get it printed tomorrow before he leaves. We're going to be looking at copiers tomorrow and, who knows, if we find a good deal we may get a new one right then. We know what we want and I know which Canon copier does it -- without being a 2 in 1, 3 in 1, 4 in one or a "It does everything including make the coffee" machine! Skywise is getting ready to leave, time to get busy....
