	Skywise is on his way to work and I'm considering what to do first. Breakfast appears to have worn off so I'm thinking about lunch. After that, I probably should pull out Book 3 and try to get some work done on that. And there is, as always, a need to decide "what's for dinner?" I'll be glad when it is warm and dry enough to go for a walk...

	We're back! And we have a new copier. We will get close to half the price back as a rebate, which is a good thing! This one is smaller and cheaper than the one we have now but the same brand (Canon). It isn't being set up at the moment because when Skywise got home last night and discovered that the car needed some minor repairs which he is currently doing. We'll see how it goes.

	We got home. Skywise made a minor repair to the car and then drove it into town to top off the tank and make sure that everything worked okay. It did so he went out about 25 minutes ago to leave for work. The car would NOT start. After several minutes of trying, he gave up and took the van to work. sigh At least it decided to quit in the driveway at 4:45 pm rather than the Post Office parking lot at 2:30 am..... At least the copier is working fine. Now... what to do with the old one....

	The dishwasher is chugging away, the aspirin I took earlier has finally gotten my knee pain under control and I'm IMing with Nike and working on Book 3. I'll be starting dinner in a couple of hours -- Skywise has the late shift tonight -- and so far everything is going well. I still have some excavating to do in the kitchen but that will have to wait for a bit.

	Nike has gone to bed and the dough for the pizzas is rising. I'm still wrestling with the constitution I need for the castle world but I may have enough. I'll decide tomorrow. NOW, I need to work on what Our Hero is learning at the Temple. THAT is gonna take as much thought as the constitution! And then.. there is Our Heroine's Brother and what he's up to...

	Afternoon! We took off fast this morning for a quick trip into town since we needed a few things from the grocery. Skywise got the car running this morning and "thinks" he knows what the problem was/is. We'll see. I'm going to be playing with the copier hard this weekend, the idea being that if anything is going to break on it we want it to do it now and not six months from now! Right now, some tea is in order while I decide what to copy next! Catch ya later.

	I got inspired so I've been working on Chapter 8 of Book 3. Our Heroine is hard at work drafting a constitution for her new country (while her Beloved 'takes it easy' in a seaside mountain retreat!) and deciding pesky details like WHERE to put all the government buildings that will be needed since she FLATLY refuses to have them cluttering up her estate! Of course, since SHE is drafting a constitution, that means that "I" have to draft one. I'm just hitting the high points since detailing the entire process would take another book which I have NO intention of writing!

	I've been watching the news a bit tonight which I don't normally do but it seems like we're seeing not "the beginning of the end" but rather "the end of the beginning." The ride will be rough in the short -- hopefully VERY short -- term but worth it when we come out on the other side.. Yeah. "Hope" is what I do....

	Afternoon! I woke up with a headache at about 9:30. Fortunately, since Skywise got in so late last night, the stuff we normally do on Saturday, we'll do on Sunday. It only makes sense 'cause Spirit wants to go to the Children's Museum tomorrow too so we can combine the two trips since we can do the shopping with no trouble on the way back. Now, for breakfast and aspirin.

	Well, I laid down and ended up sleeping most of the afternoon! Right now almost everyone ELSE in the house is asleep so I'm being as quiet as possible! 	Afternoon! We went to the Children's Museum today and stopped at the grocery on the way home. We had a good time and I was able to find some quartz crystal that I needed so I'm a happy girl. Hopefully, there will be more suitable pieces there when we go back. Now, I'm going to get my shoes off and have some tea.

	Omm: Incoming weather. If it turns out as bad as predicted, it's gonna be hairy around here from tomorrow night into (probably) sometime on Thursday. OH HAPPY DAY! They're talking freezing rain/ice, snow, wind, rain (depending on where you are) with the expected chances of power outages. If I'm not around mid-week, you'll know why.

	Afternoon! We took off for town first thing this morning and have been consumed by storm preparations since we got home. Skywise is on his way to work and we're not anticipating him having trouble getting there. Getting home might be another story. We're hoping that the storm doesn't arrive until after he gets home tonight. We'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. I'm going to be spending the rest of the afternoon/evening getting ready for the storm and keeping an eye on the weather reports. The FIRST order of business now is taking a bit to catch my breath and to take some aspirin. My left knee has been giving me fits today and I couldn't "spare" it. I had things to get done that required me to be on my feet and moving. I will now spend as much time as possible OFF my feet in hopes that it will help. One thing is for sure. I don't anticipate going ANYWHERE before Friday. Thursday at the earliest!

	Storm preparations are still underway. I've got a couple of more hours to get things squared away. I hope it holds off until Skywise gets home but that might be a forlorn hope. All I can do is get ready and pray. Which I'd better get back to doing...

	I have a week's worth of drinking water put up and just about all the dishes and laundry done that need to be finished in advance of the storm. I'd have it ALL done except that Spirit decided to take a bath and use up all the hot water! I'm hoping that the hot water heater will get caught up quickly so I can finish. My knee continues to ache. I'll definitely be taking another dose of aspirin before bed. I'm gonna be even more of a nervous wreck than I am now so melatonin is probably in my future too. I hope that they are wrong about the "2 inches of ice" part of the forecast...
