Had an early doctor appointment this morning.  It was just my normal every six month appointment to check neuro response and cover everything else.  They, of course, did a urine pregnancy test, and it came up positive.  I'd told the doctor about the positive test last Saturday, and that I'd started cramping Sunday and bleeding Monday.  He said it's possible that the bleeding was implantation bleeding and that I was still pregnant, or that it was a miscarriage and my hormone levels just haven't gone down enough yet.

Either way, because of the positive pg test, I couldn't get the steroid shot that I need for my seizures.  They drew blood and I have to go back in two weeks for another blood draw to see if my hormone levels are dropping, which means miscarriage, or rising, which means I'd still be pregnant.

J is, of course, happy at the possibility that I could still be pregnant, though I don't think I am.  We'll see.

I probably should do something useful too before I need to get dinner started. Laundry is probably a good idea and some work in the basement..

I thought I had posted in the past few days but I checked and I guess I didn't.. 
Teusday night when P and I went to Superstore, when I went to get back into our vehicle.. me being the clutz that I am and it being dark in the lot, I walloped myself with the car door.  Hurt like hell and I saw stars.  Went to the hospital.  The nurse was great, the emerg Doc was a dick.  Dug his fingers right into the dent on my head  where the corner of the door slammed into my temple..  If I wasn't so  dizzy I would have nailed his family jewels...  I'm still tempted to track him down and do it because it still hurts.  I'm not dizzy anymore but I still don't feel like myself.  Need to go see my Dr next week.  I have managed to read a bit but being on the comp makes my brain ache right now.  Wanted to give you all ((hugs)) and let you know I've been thinking of you.  I'll be back to play in a few days when I feel a bit better.  Miss you guys <3

Had a very pleasant wake up this morning   And now we're debating whether or not to go to the beach.

We're back from our errands. We stopped at Borders again and got more books. I picked up everything that I could that I was planning on getting the next year.  I'm not going to spend a dime more than I have to at Barnes and Nobel. For one thing, their Greenwood store is a BITCH to get to!

And we'd happily take your rain, VE. We didn't get much last night -- the air was too dry and most of the rain evaporated before it hit the ground -- and what we did get has already dried up.

And everyone in this part of the state would certainly take it! It's cloudy and cooler than it has been but still way too dry.

Sitting here trying to get some work done.  J is off talking to an Army recruiter that his aunt had go over there.  I wish his family would back off.  He's NOT ready to join the military, but when he's ready, he will be joining.  But he also has a hard time saying no to his family, so I'm afraid they're going to push him into something he can't handle yet, which is just going to be bad for him in the long run.

It's sunny, hot and humid here today already and it's not even 9 a.m. yet. It's going to get worse as the day goes on too, temps are supposed to hit the mid 80s and the humidex/heat index is supposed to be well up over 90.... 

I'm not awake yet... I stayed up somewhat late last night, watching a North of 60 movie on TV and my son woke me up REALLY early.

Time to check my SP Pets in another tab and get caught up.....

FORTUNATELY, for his continued good health, he missed me....

It's hot and everyone is VERY cranky right now...  Ugh... and the air conditioner is barely working.  Oh yay... it's been so much freaking fun.
