	I haven't heard anything thunder-wise yet but the day is still young... I also hit the computer with the chair leg and it made FF crash... It's now taking FOREVER to get my cache back... Joy oh freaking BLISS.......... So I'm doing a full reread on the Main Manuscript file. Son's being good so I'm actually able to do it for a change!!

	I've been inventorying my makeup kit. Looks like some of it is going to have to be pitched. Moisture got to it and mold has set in. sigh The hazards of keeping one's warpaint in the bathroom. I'll be keeping my kit in the makeup table from now on. It's kinda humid in the basement but NOT as humid as a small bathroom can get! I'm still going through things. There isn't a big rush so I'm taking my time.

	YUCK Penth! I keep mine in a sealed container on one of the storage shelves in the bathroom, we have cabinets above the washer for just that kind of thing. I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow or blush, etc, only eyeliner, concealer, powder and mascara and I go though those fast enough so they don't get icky. "Modified" pics and other ones are now posted... hehehehehe....

	The stuff that's gone bad is cream eyeliners in seldom used colors. My frugal soul hates throwing them out but my sensible side realizes the foolishness of using moldy eye makeup. An eye infection I do NOT need!

	I'm about to give up being on the !@#$%^ internet for the day... The power was out for over an hour, and I happened to be online at the time, which made FF crash AGAIN........ NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!

	Thanks Penth. This is it... REPORT CARD DAY!! We're taking Son into school long enough to get his report card and say "have a great summer" to his classmates today... Then we'll be running errands. Hubby did mention the words "bowling alley" so we may be going there if there's a lane open... Son loves it and he came by his love for it honestly, bowling is my favorite sport to play. Time to finish getting caught up and start getting ready... We're leaving around 7:30 and I have a lot to do in that hour!

	Morning. We went into down and deposited the girls' checks, ate, got a few things at the store and came home. It's not as hot as yesterday but it is still too "darn" hot! I'm gonna start the laundry and get caught up.

	We're back now too. We didn't get bowling because of the alley being closed (looks like renovations) but we stayed at the school until dismissal time. They had a slideshow in the gym that covered the entire school year... It was over an hour long!! Then we went shopping, came home, fed and watered the cats and now we're just trying to cool off... The humidity out there is so unreal, it's crazy!!! I'm going to get caught up again now, and hopefully dive into editing NR/#7 at some point............. (YEAH RIGHT with Son zooming around!! )

	Hi Penth! It's currently about 80 here but with the humidity it feels like it's about 95 or so... YECH. Our downstairs fans are currently running at MAX... I hope y'all get a LOT of rain, gods know you need it!!

	Hope so too. Some towns are canceling their fireworks displays and some counties are banning the sale and use of "personal" fireworks. This county has done neither but it should.

	We've had enough rain so we don't have to have any bans on fireworks for our Canada Day weekend here. Not that my town does a lot... One firework every 2 minutes over 20 minutes until they reach the finale and that's only 145 this year, one for each year since Confederation. My town is CHEAP.

	Well, that was interesting. The power went out at 4:40 and came back on about 20 minutes ago. During that time I found out that my boombox (and therefore my radio), my weather radio and my biggest battery powered "camp" lantern ALL have dead batteries. Since I haven't been using them, I have to wonder just HOW those batteries got exhausted. Once the power came back on, I had to convince the computer to go back online. When Skywise gets home, he WILL show me where that reset button is! I need a beer... fortunately, we just restocked the root beer supply....
