If it's any consolation, Washington, DC doesn't see anything between "the Beltway" and Los Angeles, although Chicago and Las Vegas get noticed from time to time.

I seriously think BOTH of our governments need to yank their head OUT of their keisters and see that they are REALLY ticking off a bunch of highly intelligent VOTERS....

I'm pretty fed up with politics and politicians too. They need to get honest jobs like digging ditches or cleaning the pit latrines in the state parks if they still have such things.

There are such things up here in Provincial and National parks but they are done in such a way that nothing "bad" goes out into the ground around them. Wink We have a few national parks in NS, and Kejimkujik National Park isn't that far from here. Cheesy (We call it "Keji" pronounced "Ke-gee" for short)

There was something floating around FB a while back about how quickly things would change if the politicians were put on minimum wage, but I can't remember the exact wording of it, nor did I save it anywhere. *SIGH*

Ugh, I'm still too ticked off to work on NR right now.. Heck any of the writing projects for that matter... *bangs head on wall!*

You have plenty to be ticked off about and since none of your writing projects include bloody mayhem (unlike mine which sees mayhem on a fairly regular basis) trying to write won't produce anything you can use unless you decide to write a "suspense/thriller/horror" story at some point.

I know it... *SIGH* RH is "harsh" compared to NR and what I'm hoping Untitled 8 will turn into (if I can get on the move with that one!) but not in the way that one would expect... I'm not going to go into details, because I don't like to share a lot of stuff about ANY of my work publicly, only with a few selected, TRUSTED people... Tongue

I may just set the writing projects aside for the night... It's not like I'm on a deadline or anything... YET...

NO I have NOT sent anything out to publishers yet... When I do, only a few select people will know about it because like the storylines of my work, I tend to be very closed mouthed about that kind of thing, and only a few select people will know! Tongue IF I do get a publishing contract, etc, THEN I will talk about it...

If that ever happens, y'all won't be able to shut me up about it.... Veridian will be screaming it from the rooftops and rubbing her sister's nose in it so much, her sister's nose will bleed out of her toes... Smiley

I remember having twelve cats in the house and the same thing happening... The term "CHAOS" does NOT cover it even with only ONE cat.......  Smiley

I did see the price of the bundles for our TV/Satellite and high speed... IF they ever get their DSL/fiber optic network down here, we'll be going with the CHEAP bundle, that'll save us about $20 a month.... BUT if they don't have it here yet, there ARE other options and I'll be checking with the store on them on Thursday....

The Queen and WP got off on the wrong paw and seem determined to stay that way. Thing is, little WP always starts it. She hisses at the Queen whenever she sees her and takes a swipe at her hindquarters when the Queen walks away from her. One of these days, the Queen is gonna take her. She put the SunLord to flight across the yard a few days ago. There is a limit to how much the Queen is willing to take and once she's reached that point, you'd better head for the tall timber...

That sounds like the way it was between Bird Brain and Chubs... They met when we went to Nanny's house for a few days to take care of Nanny after she had an operation and wound up having to take Birdie with us... Birdie was SOOOOOOO ticked off and Chubs, being only a very young cat at the time, got in her face once too many times... Both cats had short hair but OI, did the fur EVER FLY....... Shocked

As sweet as Birdie was to her hoomans when they did what she wanted them to, she had one HECK of an attitude and was rather sassy.... *SIGH*

Morning.

I've been here for a while but have been trying to get caught up.

I will not be around most of the daytime because Hubby works the short dayshift and Son will be in school. I'll have time to work on getting NR ready to send out and possibly work on one of the other writing projects if anything clicks, without being interrupted every few minutes.

Time to finish getting caught up and get more liquid caffeine in me...

Is it just me or does that coffee whitener I got yesterday leave a horrible aftertaste in one's mouth???? GAG.....

I hear you, Sita. I'm staying away from my facebook feed too. Too much anger in mine and I'm trying to stay in a "good" frame of mind going into the holidays. I'm thoroughly sick of politics and the rehashing of old grievances. The more energy you give a thought/feeling/circumstance, the more of that thought/feeling/circumstance you will get. "Law of Attraction" don't ya know? So I'm not giving fire, flood, explosions, hurricanes, political drama or BILLS any more attention that absolutely necessary!

And in that vein, the turkey is almost cool enough to put in the refrigerator.
