Book 2 has moved from "In Review" to "Publishing". It says that it will be 12 hours before it's available but I hope it doesn't take that long!

It's been shared on my Pink Rose profile and my author's page already and I'll be getting it up on Sanctuary's page and your author page in a few minutes.... I now have to find my credit card so I can get a copy of it too!!! Cheesy

The link to Penth's second book is now up on HER author page, Sanctuary's FB fan page, both of my real name profiles, my author's page and in Sanctuary's group...

In my end of the writing world....

NR's final draft folder has been created, the synopses for it are in there and I'm going to go over NR with an ultra fine toothed comb today and tomorrow while trying to think of exactly what all to put into the cover letters, notably for Publisher #1.

NR will go into "final draft mode" once I am finished with the final edit and word counts.

May the gods be with me during these last few steps before NR is on its way out there.

Slowly but surely, the final edit continues... I'm at the start of Chapter 8 right now, and I've caught a few places where things had to be changed or an "and" had to be added in here and there. I'd like to finish Part One of NR's final edit before Son gets off the bus if possible... Hopefully I can do that so I can finish the final edit tomorrow or Thursday morning, and get on the ball with the cover letters, etc on Friday.

Getting NR is my priority right now and I don't think I'll be able to work on Untitled 8 or "WL" until NR is sent out to publishers... It's time to get it out into the big wide world and it won't leave me alone until I do just that!  Smiley

Afternoon.
We made a quick run into town for lunch and a few things... like chocolate! I'm really tired today. I was too tired to sleep last night and when I finally did sleep a cat (don't know which one) knocked an empty jar off the counter -- didn't break fortunately -- which woke me up and I had to start all over. Then, around dawn, the SunLord started pestering Moonie to be fed so she went to the kitchen -- which is next to our bedroom -- to feed him all the while telling Golden Boy exactly what she thought about the whole situation which woke me and Skywise up again. At some point after that, the Queen, who was sleeping on my pillow decided to launch herself off the bed and that the shortest distance between her and her destination was directly across my head....

I'm pretty sure that there is a nap in my future this afternoon...

CATS! Roll Eyes Mine's been bugging me for snuggles all morning, Hubby went back upstairs for a nap after Son got on the bus.

I'm in Chapter 11 now and yeah, I'm still catching a few things here and there. It's slow going but I AM getting closer to the end of Part One. With a little luck, maybe Hubby will look after the little guy so I can do some more editing after Son gets home from school... I'd really like to have the editing finished before the student led parent-teacher conference on Thursday afternoon so I can get things ready to go to publishers before Monday.

That said, the eyes are crossing... I may sneak offline early tonight if the eyes and the hands get TOO bad.. *SIGH*

LOL!!!! I won't be getting a copy of it unfortunately, with a VERY curious 8 year old around, NOT a good idea to have something like that laying around.... Roll Eyes

I'm closing in on the start of Chapter 15... Hubby is still laying down so I'm going to see if I can work on and off between Son making demands and shoving stuff between my face and the monitor... Roll Eyes

LOL! At least it wasn't blushing as bright as I was while reading some of the "over 18" stuff in NR earlier... I think they could see me blushing way the heck over in Toronto..... Tongue

Yeah, I still blush when I read stuff that I wrote like that... I don't know why, and I should NOT blush but I do... So glad Hubby was NAPPING when I was at that part of the manuscript because he would have wondered WHY my face was as red as a cooked lobster....  Smiley

Final Edit of Part One: DONE.  Trying NOT to bawl..... Cry

I have dishes to do too, and supper to get on the go... Maybe I can get over the transition mode and think about ideas for WL/Untitled 8 while I'm scrubbing dirty pots and pans... Or think about what's going to go into the cover letters, etc.

Or maybe I should just turn Brain OFF for a change and just relax....  Smiley

Just wanted to note that the rain we've been having the last hour or so has made the transition to snow during the last 20 minutes. No freezing rain or at least none on the front steps. (I just checked.) The forecast says 3 to 6 inches for this area. Skywise thinks it will be 3 because the "border" between the 3 to 6 band and the 1 to 3 band is between here and Bloomington. I'm not so sure!

I hear you on that one, VE! My eyes are complaining too.

An hour ago, the ground was bare. Now it looks like we have about a quarter to a half inch of snow and it's coming down fast. Since it may turn out to be a longer night than usual, I'm going to take a bit of a break before it gets much later. The Queen will be pleased. See ya later.
