We're home and I'm wiped. I'm diving into another coffee and will be starting the next stage of formatting, editing, etc of Book 1/No Regrets in a bit. I just want the caffeine to kick in a tad more first. Tongue

We're getting showers on and off today, the remnants of TS Gabrielle are just about out of this part of the Maritimes. Not sure how long I'll be around though, I'm still trying to get this system set up to my specifications a little more. I still haven't found Bejeweled 3 or Twist so I've been going crazy trying to find both of those disks. *SIGH*

I'm around for a couple of hours anyway, but will be quiet. Tongue

I just found out that Jimmy Herman, who played Joe Gumba on North of 60, passed away yesterday. The Canadian film and TV industry lost a true legend, he was an amazing actor who had also been in movies like Dances with Wolves believe it or not. He was 82 or 83 years old.

Smiley Thanks, I'll probably do that soon. I'm feeling worse by the hour and am now sneezing up a storm. This is the ONE thing I hate about Son going back to school, the germs. Even our doc mentioned it seemed the instant school opens, he sees a LOT of kids sick, and sometimes the parents. It's nuts. *SIGH*

And universal, the same thing happens here.

And Uni's wires are definitely crossed.... I just got an email from Joann fabrics telling me that my order for 1 yard of the black/silver tapestry brocade has been cancelled because it is out of stock. [Side note: I hope that means they expect it to be BACK in stock at some point!]
Thing is.... I HAVEN'T ORDERED ANY FABRIC since the last time and I ordered all that they had at the time. I've been thinking HARD about ordering more of that fabric and INTENDING LIKE HELL to get more of that fabric and ONE YARD is the absolute minimum that I need but I DID NOT PLACE AN ACTUAL ORDER WITH JOANN'S FOR IT!!

Ah, Uni... First you get the fabric back in stock, THEN you get it showing up online and THEN I'll order it. Although if you want to have them ship it to me without my bothering to order it, that's fine. Just make sure that it's at least a yard and 2 or 3 would be better so I could make the entire top from one piece of fabric.

Nite, hon.

I had to get away from the computer because my right hand hurt every time I moved my thumb toward my palm -- which made using the mouse very uncomfortable!  I took some aspirin and cuddled with the Queen who made sure that I didn't use my hand for anything other than petting her! It feels better now.

We're back and stuffed with excellent steak and, in Spirit's case, chicken. We've rearranged our schedule for tomorrow. We'll be doing some banking/shopping in town and Skywise will probably cut the grass then rather than head for a state park. At the moment though, we're all going to lay around and "digest!" We're all agreed that we ate too much!!
