Just marked off this week's ideas off the ideas list in Word. It's still pretty long, but at the same time, it's getting smaller as things get written up.

Eyes are starting to bleed and I have a 9 year old wanting computer time soon.... More like now. *SIGH*

It's days like today that I wish NS wasn't so far away from everyone else. So many of my friends are within a certain geographical area, and I'm stuck out here on the far east coast. *SIGH* Maybe someday in the future I'll be able to visit everyone I want to, and our Penth (with her family and WD) is on the top of the list with our Tabby and Ravens Tears..............

Yeah, I know, hon. We need transporters, we really do. Failing that, we need "skyhoppers" or even the flying cars from "The Jetsons" 'fer crying out loud! I mean really! It's the 21st Century and we're still getting from Point A to Point B in pretty much the same way they did in 1900. *sigh*

I'd love to put up a canopy or two and throw a big "end of summer" bash but all the people I'd invite live out of state -- some of them out of the country -- so I can only dream and do the planning as an "exercise."

Oh gods, something like that would be AWESOME!!!

I told Hubby that if I ever go on a cross Canada signing tour, I'd be making a little side trip to Indiana when I hit the southern Ontario end of it, and he knew WHY I want to do that.... Even if I only got as far as Indianapolis!

Yeah, we do need transporters. Big time. I'd travel in one of them before I went on an airplane or something that didn't let me keep both feet firmly on the ground in a fashion..........

Observation: When you move something that hasn't been moved in a couple of decades, no matter how well you've cleaned, you're going to uncover a lot of dirt, especially if what you're moving is hard to clean under.

That was Nanny's encyclopedia bookcase... We pulled it out and cleaned it about eight or so years ago and it hadn't been moved in about 15 or so years. The stuff behind it, including dog toys and chew bones along with the dust and everything else, was MIND BOGGLING.... Shocked  Smiley

What I moved was the copier stand and I just got done cleaning that section of the floor with a scrub brush. ICK! Now I'm starting the next phase which is moving the unit with the microwave and crockpot on it -- after I unload it, of course, so I'll be "unavailable" for a bit.
