	8 to 12 inches? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.............. Or that's what it's saying for Sunday on our weather network site. We're getting mixed precipitation on Sunday with up to half an inch of snow, and Monday it's up to 6 inches of snow. Probably the same storm that's going to hit your area on Sunday Penth. EW. The government checks came out up here yesterday, that's why it's nuts in our town.

	They're saying "wintery mess" for this area but the track isn't nailed down yet so no one will say how much of it will be snow, how much will be rain and how much will be "wintery ". The government checks come out on the 1st unless the first is a Sunday or a holiday. When that happens they come out on Saturday or the day before the holiday. So tomorrow will be a little nuts and Saturday will be REALLY nuts -- which is why we'll be going to the bank early on Saturday and then heading for Greenwood. I'm definitely going to be conserving megabytes today. We used too many yesterday and didn't get a full refill this morning. I see some basement cleaning in my future. I won't be tempted to surf if I'm not using the computer at all.

	Ours is saying snow for your area... But that's OUR weather station. I've been getting Windows updates too and I've already used close to 100MB of my "amount" for the day. Wish uploads didn't count on the stupid stick....

	I'm back. My eyes are doing reasonably well. I've moved furniture around downstairs -- got the desk Mom gave me when I was ten where I can actually USE it! -- and I've eaten twice which is okay since dinner won't be ready until around midnight. I've washed some dishes and I'm about to work on a small craft project. Oh. And I conserved megabytes.

	Morning. Penth, that's like our school board canceling school three days in advance of a snow storm or hurricane that's been predicted. GODS. SIGH We had a couple of centimeters of snow come down overnight but it's not that bad... We'll see if schools are open or not in about half an hour. It can go either way. I've seen them canceled with nothing on the road - in anticipation of a predicted snowstorm - and then they've been open with more than 10 cm/4 inches down and the roads were not plowed. SIGH I'll check the school board's site in a bit. Coffee and catch up time....

	I know it and that dingbat who called in to say they "couldn't make it" only has Saturday night-itis if you ask me.... Hubby worked daytime today but goes on three closing shifts starting tomorrow night. 	The extra $$ in the paycheck is nice, useful and very welcome what with what we've had to pay out recently but dang it! I miss having "family time" with my husband present. One day a week just isn't enough!!

	The only "Family time" we've had recently have been snow days. SIGH Hubby works all weekend every weekend... And when he works the closing shift on a school day, he sees Son for maybe ten minutes in the morning before the bus comes. He's generally gone before the afternoon bus arrives.

	Yeah, we had a lot of that when the girls were in public school. It's the main reason Skywise took the super late shift. It has weekends off and being so late, it wasn't "high demand." He had weekends off and we could pick the girls up after school on the days he didn't supervise.
