Skywise is home so I like to "cook" when he is because the weekends and vacations are the only times he can eat dinner with us. And to be fair, using the crockpot makes the whole thing a lot easier.

Understandable.

The glue isn't fully dried yet so we're back to waiting... And I'm peeling glue off the fingers again.... *SIGH*

I know how that is. I was gluing up another candlestick the other day and the nozzle was clogged with semi-dried glue. I spent more time getting that cleared out than I did on my project. I ended up with glue on my fingers, the needle nosed pliers, the regular pliers and a couple of screwdrivers.

I'm worse than that, and toss Son into the mix... It's his project so he has to do most of it, I'm supervising and helping.

Glue everywhere................ Shocked Just glad the cat is SMART enough to stay OUT of the way!

One of the glue bottles exploded all over the stove.... NOT MY DAY!!!! I've got it cleaned up but STILL... EW.

My sympathies. I'll admit to never having had an "Incredible Exploding Glue Bottle". For which I'm grateful.

The next wave of snow is moving in. I expect we'll be getting snowed on again in an hour or less. I keep losing the satellite just long enough for my IP to reset so I may lose it all together when it starts snowing again. If I go "poof" that's why.

Son's thing isn't finished yet... We ran out of glue and Hubby had to get some on his way to work, so I'll be finishing up the gluing, etc after he's home so it can finish curing overnight. Fun stuff. NOT. *SIGH*

Dinner's done -- finally -- and everyone is fed. Things were slowed considerably by the fact that the SunLord parked his magnificent self on the workstation and refused to move which made putting the roast on it while everything else was cooking on the stove a... bad idea....

Mr. Smartypants was doing his "I'm gonna roll all over the place and look adorable" thing and got too close to the edge. He slid off [like the time he fell off the roof] and he tried to catch himself on the workstation's top but... since it's stone, he could get a grip and down he went.
The expression on his face as he slid over the edge was priceless. I'm hoping it will teach him to pay a bit more attention to where he is in relation to the edges of things.

It was the feline equivalent of "eeekkkk!!!!"

And when he's stretched out he's almost as long as the workstation is tall so his hind feet were only inches from the floor. Nothing hurt but his feline pride.

I just sent Son back to bed AGAIN... He was sound asleep when I came down at 9:45 but woke up about half an hour ago and decided he needed to use the bathroom. He's going to be one very tired kid in the morning... *SIGH*

He was determined to stay up until his father got home.. NOPE!!

If it does result in a bad day at school, he's already been warned about losing computer time amongst other things....

I have Eleven and different parts of it open so I'm kind of bouncing around ideas for it while I reread the scenes I wrote up this past Friday. I know it needs to be fleshed out a bit and smoothed out more, so I'm considering that while reading.

Hubby should be home in just over an hour.... Then it's time for more exploding craft glue bottles... Roll Eyes

I'm going to be staying up until after 2 am so I can download this week's backup. Didn't get to do that last week and it makes me nervous so since we've no where to go in the morning, I'm going to stay up and then sleep in.
