	SunLord ate, groomed himself ferociously and settled in for a nap. He's still sleeping and will get some pain medication when he wakes up. He probably won't like it but I don't want him hurting since that might discourage him from eating and he has noticeably lost weight.

	Greetings. RB is "officially" ours and we have the vet records to prove it. He got his first round of shots today, a flea/tick/worm treatment and a shot of antibiotic for his nasal infection. He had another nosebleed on the way over to the vet's office so now I need to disinfect the carrier and wash the towel that was in it. His booster shots and neutering surgery is about three weeks from now and once that's out of the way we should be through with this "going to the vet almost daily" business. SunLord is outside with the others for the first time in a few weeks and he was bugging Moonie through the night to get up and feed him. He's definitely on the mend...

	Okay, Skywise is at work and I'm caught up on everything online -- I've been filling my facebook page with felines, castles and beautiful scenery the latter two being references for Samgara. I still haven't found anything that looks like Keyholder's Castle but I've come close with a few of them and Windsor Castle is mind-blowing. Anyway, I'm getting offline to be useful. I'll be back later.

	Checking in. Spirit's presents are ordered. I ordered a present for Moonie a few days ago that STILL hasn't been taken to the post office. There are a few things on her list that I can probably find in the stores so she'll have something under the tree if that doesn't mail her gift in time..� And Skywise's main gift has arrived. My list is made out and I'm hoping that Skywise will at least use it for reference.....

	Damn what a morning! Skywise had a 10:40 doctor's appointment. We rushed to get a few things at Walmart and made it to the doctor's office in time -- no thanks to the crews working on 37 which was down to one lane on the northbound side PLUS trucks stopped in the turning lane. Then we waited for what seemed like forever in the waiting room, then the girls and I waited some more while he saw the doctor. When he came out we had to wait SOME MORE because the doctor wanted blood tests. So we sat. And waited. And waited some more. About 20 minutes after Skywise came out to wait for her, the technician came out and asked how long he'd been waiting. It seems no one had alerted her that she needed to come over from the ER to do the blood draw. She'd just come over at random and found his paperwork in her basket. She was steamed and let the office staff -- who are responsible for that -- know about it. So it's nearly noon by that time and we STILL had to go to the bank and eat which we finally got done. We decided to take the somewhat longer route through town to get to the 37/252 intersection to get home to avoid the work on 37. We got stuck in a backup because of a funeral procession. A long one. We finally got moving again, dodged around street work in town and made it across 37 and onto 252. We got home at about 12:45 pm. Just in time for Skywise to get ready to go to work. Gotta love the December Christmas Rush.... NOT!!!

	I've been working on a cushion for the Queen's preferred sleeping space. It's slow going because of my eyes. RB, who has been hiding out in the basement since we brought him home from the vet, has finally come back upstairs. Skywise has been feeding him downstairs but I guess the little guy decided that it was safe to come upstairs. I don't know what he's going to think after his neutering surgery. He probably won't trust us for a month.... And I've reached the point where changing from my "computer glasses" to my bifocals gives me a splitting headache for a few minutes which explains the pains in my head when I get up to answer the phone. (I can't read the caller ID with my computer glasses.) I thought it was because I was getting up too quick. sigh Another damned pain -- literal this time -- I have to put up with until I can get these cataracts out.....

They "should" be major pains but not as major as the bitch who will -- as it currently stands -- have her neck broken by Our Hero. So I need to think about them and make some notes. 	A week ago today, at 5:30 pm it was raining. I opened the front door, RB came in and decided to stay. A lot has happened this week but SunLord is on the mend and nearly back to his old self and RB has had his first round of shots and his sinus infection is clearing up resulting in a change in his looks. When he came, he had a roundish face, now it is more pointed. We think that he had significant facial swelling which has now gone down. We're still in the "adjustment" period but so far, no blood has been shed...

	Greetings. "The best laid plans of mice and men oftimes are fouled up by cats....." This morning, Skywise let all the cats out -- including RB and Romeo. In due course, he started rounding them up so we could go into the city. Everyone showed up promptly...... except RB. Unlike his brother who comes when Skywise calls him and is as likely to follow him around like a puppy, RB decided that this cold but otherwise beautiful day was perfect for a walkabout. We've been looking for him for over two hours and the little hairball is nowhere to be found. He "may" have decided to take his healthy little self back to his former address and maybe settle old scores. sigh I've been invoking a Murphy's Law variant that states that if you want a cat to show up so you can leave, just start doing something that you can't easily -- or at all -- quit until it is finished. Having sorted and put away about three loads of summer clothes, I'm now doing a load of laundry in the hope that he'll turn up.... I'll eat a little something too. That might help since it's time for lunch and I haven't had breakfast yet.....
