	Greetings. We'll be heading into town in a bit. It's gloomy but I think that the fog has let up which is good 'cause it has been a persistent problem all week. I'm hoping "life" will cooperate and I can get some writing done today but I'm not going to bet the mortgage money on it.

	We're back after buying a quarter ton of catfood -- or at least it seemed that way when I was unloading the cart at the store! We still have fog but it isn't as bad as it has been. I will now drink tea and catch up.

	Greetings. As proof that miracles still happen, Skywise has the entire weekend off. In DECEMBER no less! I can't remember the last time THAT happened. Anyway, we're back from errands plus Christmas shopping. I'm going to get some tea and probably help myself to a piece of the Christmas fudge that I got at the grocery store......

	Greetings. We're back from the museum which was VERY noisy today! My ears are still ringing a bit. The best thing is that we beat the rain home. There is a HUGE mass to the west of us and it will rain for hours once it gets here. I'm going to get caught up quickly 'cause from the looks of things I "could" lose the satellite at some point tonight.

	We're seriously considering building a handicapped/wheelchair ramp next summer. I don't anticipate being in a wheelchair any time soon but getting up and down the front steps is becoming increasingly painful. So painful that the only time I go outside is when we're going somewhere. It is much easier -- not to mention less painful -- for me to use a ramp -- especially when I'm trying to get into the house with a load of groceries. I've already established a "ramp building" fund for the project.

	Greetings. We're back from the dentist and everything is good. I have a tiny spot on one tooth that I'll be keeping an eye on but the dentist didn't think he needed to do anything about it now so we'll revisit it in July or sooner if anything changes. Right now, I'm going to get caught up.

	We've been offline for a few hours. Don't know if it was due to weather conditions or not. Skywise doesn't know when he'll be home tonight but that is par for the course on this, the "day of heaviest mail volume" of the Christmas season. I'll start dinner at the usual time and he'll be home to eat it when he gets here. Post # 36,736

	We had an emergency shutdown. We suddenly started hemorrhaging megabytes and it got down to 92mg/19 percent before we got it stopped -- which we did by shutting everything down. I have NO idea what happened. I was trying to refresh Sanctuary and I kept getting a "failure to connect to web server". Normally, that doesn't require a lot of megabytes. sigh We will NOT get a full refill tonight and maybe not tomorrow night either so I won't be online much until Thursday and since I'm going to be baking pies for Skywise to take to work, it may be Friday before I'm on much in the daytime. After 2 am, I'll be in to check on things if I manage to stay up that late.

	Greetings. Conservation of megabytes is in force. There was more internet weirdness last night after I left here. We're at 78% right now and I'd like a full reload tonight so..... megabytes will be conserved. Skywise got home at a little after 4:30 this morning. I hope he gets home a lot earlier tonight. RB goes to the vet in the morning for his neutering surgery and THAT means getting him over there before 7:30. Right now, I'm going to get caught up and get to work.

	I'm slowly getting everything ready to make dinner tonight and pies tomorrow. "Slowly" because my left leg aches from the knee, down my shin to my ankle and consequently, I'm not getting around very fast, even with using the cane. Skywise expects to be home earlier tonight than last which is good 'cause we're expected to deliver RB to the vet between 7:15 and 7:30 am. He'll overnight at the vet's which is a good thing. He won't be hissed at and -- hopefully -- get a good rest. We'll pick him up Thursday morning as early as we can. I expect him to be yowling his head off and trying to tear the cage apart. He does NOT like to be confined so getting him home where he can pick his resting spot that he can leave any time he wants "should" settle him down.

	The cats are NOT happy. Because RB is having surgery tomorrow he can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight so I made sure that he and Queen ate at 11:30 pm (put their favorite flavor of cat food in front of them) then took all the food up at midnight. sigh Maybe we can slip them something while RB is asleep...... We did the sensible thing, we dropped him off, had breakfast in town, came home and went back to bed.I woke up about an hour ago and I'm still a little sleepy. 	Skywise found the "pie transport unit" so I can stop worrying about how he was going to get about 20+ pounds of apple pie to its destination. NOW all I have to do is make the pies. I can get two in the oven at a time so that will cut down on the time spent baking. Doesn't cut down on the time for "everything else" but I'll take whatever I can get.
