	Afternoon. Back from town. We had to drop some paperwork that the bank didn't realize they needed for the mortgage payoff. We also did some shopping and had lunch. I've already started cleaning up the kitchen from last night. Now I understand why they said to use a non-stick skillet for the fettuccine alfredo!

	It's raining. Fortunately, it is still above freezing. The trash is out so we don't have to worry about that. I'll be starting dinner soon. My attempt at a nap was a bust. The phone kept ringing.

	Earlier in the day, we were told to expect less than an inch of snow. NOW we're told to expect 2 to 4 inches. I didn't think that the weather paid any attention to county lines.....

	Afternoon. Back from town. We decided to mix up our "payday" shopping. We did most of it today and we'll do the rest on Friday when we deposit his check. Walmart was a lot less crowded today and checkout went faster so it may become our regular thing. There was about 2 inches of snow on the ground this morning. The sun has come out and it's melting. Still... snow cover on the first full day of Spring....

	The snow is almost gone. The temp is in the mid-40s and fortunately, it looks like most of the snow melt is soaking in rather then running off. In any event, the path up to the Old House isn't muddy.

	I've started a cookbook/food preservation book inventory list for the cookbook and just replaced the old cover sheet (I keep it in a very large three ring binder) with a new one. If I'm somewhere that sells binders tomorrow I'm going to get a new one. The vinyl clear cover is starting to crackle a bit and that usually means that "cracking" is in the offing. Once the "cookbook" list is up to date, I'll need to update the Master Library list. I swear I'm so far behind on THAT one I could do nothing for a month but go through books and enter the ones that aren't on the list into the inventory. Needless to say, I have a LOT of other chores that are more pressing! Anyway, Skywise has called and he's on his way so I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. We did "payday shopping" today or rather more of it. We're "breaking it up" so we don't have to do so much at one time. Shopping for four adults adds up to a LOT of stuff to shoehorn into the back of the van! Keeping an eye on the local weather. No one can agree on how much snow we're going to get. It's one of those situations where we won't know until it starts falling (at best) or when it's over (at worst. A "Hello, we were expecting an inch and got six" sort of thing.) We're pretty well stocked up so it shouldn't be a problem.

	Skywise is on his way home. He doesn't have to work tomorrow so whatever the weather decides to dish up, he won't have to drive to work and back in it. Nothing is due to start happening until about 3 am so he should be home before anything starts. I'm going to head out while I can. I may be too sleepy to remember when he gets home. 	Afternoon. Snow, snow and more snow. It was supposed to have stopped by now but the radar says it will probably last all night. sigh We went to Greenwood, got my comics and some Barbie stuff at TRU. Looked for but didn't find a binder at Meijer but we DID find tomorrow night's dinner so that's good.

	Spirit says it's still snowing. They've issued the highest level travel advisory (red) for the county. I am pathetically grateful that Skywise didn't work today and is here, home and safe. This storm reminds me of the '08 flood. The line just sits there and dumps on us only it's snow this time instead of rain......

	Snow has stopped. Three pounds of meat makes four quarts of chili base. One quart we're eating now, the other three will go into the freezer when it is cool enough. Which will be a while.
