	I feel a little better than I did last night but still a long way from being healthy. I'm going to try to stay up a little longer and then head back to bed. I'd like to be healthy sometime this month.... Post #39,789

	Afternoon. I was so out of it last night, I forgot to say "goodnight". My bad. My temp is still bouncing around and I'm still coughing. Right now, I have a headache along with everything else.

	I've spent the day trying to get done what had to be done without causing a relapse since I "do" think I'm a bit better. Tomorrow, I have to go shopping -- unless I spend the night hacking my lungs out. Hopefully THAT won't cause me to relapse.

	I've been alternating between rest and trying to get something done. The cough is hanging on. Thinking about hiding from the bank. After 33 years, our mortgage will be paid off in a couple of months -- more or less depending on when we get the tax refund -- and we've been getting calls every 7 to 10 days or so from the bank wanting to "help" us with our financial situation. Our "financial situation" is just fine, thank you! What they want is for us to take out a loan of some kind or other so they can continue to get a chunk of Skywise's paycheck every month! NOT GONNA HAPPEN! We're going to use the "former" mortgage payment to build up the savings account, pay off my hospital bill and take care of some small but important projects around here. THEN, we'll decide what, if anything, to do. We do NOT need the bank's assistance, thank you very much! Post #39,800

	Took a much needed nap. The cough has become "productive" and I'm bringing up gross looking "stuff" which is a good sign. Maybe I'm finally on the mend.

	Took another nap. Woke up three hours ago. I'm working on a sleeve for the sweater I'm making. I decided to finish a lap robe I was making while I was sick -- when I felt well enough -- since it was uncomplicated, hdc back and forth, eight rows pink alternating with four rows of pewter gray. Now, I'm doing something more complicated in cherry red which I thought would be easier than working it in my customary black. Once I get the hang of it, I'll make a black one for myself. Moonie will get a royal blue one and Spirit royal purple one first. I haven't decided what color Skywise's will be and his is a different pattern. Anyway, these projects are keeping my fingers busy -- especially when watching shows that make me nervous -- and saving my fingernails!

	Afternoon. We are back from shopping. I just pre-ordered a book I first looked at years ago. It will apparently be released in August. Something to look forward to. Now to get caught up.

	It's getting harder and harder to endure the pain all around me, not from my family but from the world. I don't know if I'm becoming more sensitive or if my ability to block it is eroding. Either way, I just wish it would stop so I don't feel on the verge of tears all the time......

	I took a longish nap and felt a little better when I woke up. I felt a lot better once I'd recovered from being awakened out of a sound sleep by a ringing telephone from someone who was probably a scam artist since we don't use iCloud....
