	Finished listening to my new lesson. I don't know WHAT was going on in the background while he was recording but it made my ears hurt. I hope it doesn't come through when we make the Talk to Text recording. If it does, I may have a lot of cleanup to do on it. Now, laundry needs to be dealt with. And it's been snowing since 5 pm.

	Skywise has called. He's on his way. There's only about a quarter of an inch of snow up there and close to 3 inches down here. He promised to be careful. Gonna head out and put his laundry away. Everyone sleep well, be safe, stay calm and STAY HEALTHY!!

	Update: We have 4.25 inches of snow and it's still coming down. I just swept off the steps for Skywise. Too bad I can't shovel the walk for him but there's ice underneath it. Good thing we aren't going anywhere tomorrow morning.

	Morning. We got 4.25 inches last night. Skywise is cleaning off the van. More snow with maybe freezing rain due tomorrow. Winter is here.

	Greetings. This is my first post using my new laptop.The big thing now is that in case of a power outage, I'll STILL be able to come in here as long as my battery lasts. I'm still adding bookmarks the hard, time consuming way but that's okay.

	Back on my desktop now. I had to stop working on the laptop to work on the dishes and dinner. I need to confer with Skywise about a couple of things. I don't want to mess something up that he'll have to fix. He IS the "Network Admin" for our household network after all!

	Just checked the weather forecast. Another 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected Thursday afternoon/evening. Looks like February is going to make up for January being mild....

	I now have the laptop set up next to the desktop. The electrical connections aren't optimum but they should work until I can make other arrangements. The main thing is that it is connected to a surge protector.

	Finally got warm. Currently wearing shoes heavier than my sneakers so my feet stay warm. It's a trade off. These shoes are heavier than my sneakers but they're also warmer. It's still snowing and 20 degrees outside.

	Coursework is done for the night. I finished eating and took my medication about 90 minutes ago. I hope Skywise gets off earlier tonight but the way travel conditions are, I'm not optimistic....

	Afternoon. Rough morning. We made it to Greenwood for the milk/produce run and ate but it was slow going. The backroads are horrible. We took the 135/44 route home and that's the route Skywise is taking to work. He left 45 minutes ago and if he didn't run into trouble, he should be at work soon. It'll be cold tonight but they've backed off on the 1 to 2 inches of snow prediction, thank Goodness! Monday/Tuesday could be problematic but it's too early to tell how bad it's going to be. Oh happy day.....

	Skywise just called. He's safely at work. I can stop worrying until he starts home tonight. He'll take the same route home so it will take longer but the roads are better so it will be safer and that's all that counts.

	It's looking more and more likely that we'll get over 6 inches of snow Monday/Tuesday. NOT liking that at all, especially since Skywise will have to drive in it. I'm hoping he'll have Monday (President's Day) off so if we have snow up the the windowsills Monday night, he will be AT HOME when it happens and, if it's bad, call in at work!!

	I printed out the pdf of the laptop's operations manual tonight so I can actually read it. The pdf is too hard for me to read especially if I'm poking around the machine trying to figure out what is what. So it's printed, punched and in a binder with a nice identifying cover insert. There's another sheet I need to print but it's specific to the laptop and I haven't teased out all the particulars yet so it's not ready to print yet.
