	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work. The roads last night and this morning are a lot better than they were yesterday morning so he didn't have to leave early to take an alternate route. Things should be quiet weatherwise today and until Monday night -- which is what I'm watching now. Skywise is pretty sure he'll have Monday off and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he does.

	Storm totals are starting to firm up. Model #1 says.... 8.9 inches. Model # 2 says... 9.6 inches... With possible wind gusts of 25 mph -- maybe more -- and with the snow being dry and fluffy... drifting. BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES!!! Time to do a quick inventory and fill in any gaps before Monday...

	The Winter Storm WATCH was issued for Central Indiana from Sunday night through Tuesday morning about 2 hours ago. 6 to 9+ inches of dry, fluffy snow is expected. Good thing we got milk yesterday. "Bread" will probably disappear. If we need some, it will be my chance to try my hand at bread baking. I'm making pulled beef BBQ for dinner tonight and lunch/snacks tomorrow and for however long it lasts. Post # 44,200

	It occurs to me that, before next winter, some sort of snow blower, perhaps attached to the lawn mower, would be a worthwhile and probably necessary investment given that our driveway is in the neighborhood of 350 feet long and Skywise and I aren't as fit as we used to be......

	Morning. We're in the gap between waves of snow. We may have two to two and half hours before it starts again. The South is getting hit hard and they don't have the equipment and supplies to deal with it. Don't think we'll be leaving here for a couple of days.

	It started snowing again a couple of hours ago. I'm glad Skywise has today off. The County Travel Status has been upgraded to "Watch" and I won't be surprised if it's up to "Warning" by morning, maybe before then. This storm extends from Houston, Texas all the way up to Maine. I'm afraid that this is a taste of what is to come -- "Global Warming, be damned!"

	Skywise went out to the road because one of the mailboxes was down. The wind is brutal. He says he "might" be able to get the car out tomorrow but the van is parked for the duration. If the County Travel Status gets upgraded to Warning it won't matter if we can get it out or not! He agrees that a "snow blower" of some sort is at the top of our major purchase list next spring/summer.

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work. Mad as hell because of unannounced construction detours. Fortunately, he left in plenty of time so he won't be late once he actually makes it to the highway. The roads are in decent shape and the highway is clear -- once you can get to it.

	Got up about an hour ago. Feel some better. I can walk at least. Skywise called me from work. He's really behind the idea of a snowblower. Not gonna find one right now -- and if we did, it would cost a fortune -- but come next fall, it's at the top of the "Buy List"!
