	Lights have blinked a couple of times but the "light orange/yellow is almost past us with green behind it. And something just hit the roof.

	Evening. He got home at a bit after five. We were in bed by 6. Slept in like the dead. Got up and did stuff. Finally able to sit down, post and get caught up.

	Afternoon. Back from the doctor's office. All is good on the diabetes front and I got shots in my knees so I've got some pain relief for, I hope, the next three months. Skywise is on the way to work. Expecting another long day. Time to get the appointments entered in the appointment book -- they're mounting up -- and get organized for the rest of the week. This will be the "worst" week.

	Up from my nap. Still have some pain but nothing like yesterday. I can function. I need to strengthen my leg muscles while I can which reportedly helps manage pain. We'll see.

	LP has jumped down so I can make the post I'd intended before he took my seat. The hydrocortisone the doctor injected into my knees has had plenty of time to squish around and I know about how much relief I'm going to have this time around. I'm not completely without pain BUT the pain is at about were it was when I was in my 40s: mild for the most part with the rare "zap" and completely pain-free more often than not. My main concern now is going to be "muscle weakness". Having been unable to do any sort of exercise for so long due to pain, my muscles are very weak so the first thing I have to do while the pain is lessened is build them up. The most effective way to do that, right now at least, is to walk so I'll start slow -- walking up to the Old House and back at least once a day. Yeah, it's that bad. According to the x-rays taken back in 2019, I had severe osteoarthritis then and it's probably worse now. She didn't order more x-rays but I wouldn't have been surprised if she had. That may be in the cards for my next appointment in June. She seemed a concerned about our plan to get Skywise's knees fixed first since his current thoughts about holding off retirement until 2023 is a long time relatively speaking when talking about osteoarthritis. If I can hold out that long, I want to. We'll take it a day at a time and see how it goes.

	Afternoon. Discovered that my hydrocortisone injections have elevated my blood glucose to the tune of about 62 points more or less. I was NOT expecting that but some research when we got back from "first meal" reassured me. My body should adjust in five days or less, hopefully less. Skywise got in at 5:10 this morning and is on his way back. Thank the Gods, we have only this week and next to get through.

	Was only able to eat about half of my dinner. Absolutely NO appetite tonight. Only ate what I did so I could take my pill. I'll start "fasting" now, maybe I'll be hungry in the morning.

	Afternoon. He got home at 5:45 or thereabouts. He ate and we went to bed. Got up, made breakfast and he left again. He says he feels like a boarder. I feel like a single mom. I'm going to finish catching up then get busy and take a nap, probably not in that order. He's expecting another long night, hopefully not as long a last night....

	Took a four hour nap. I "should" make it to whenever bedtime turns out to be. Currently doing a load of laundry. Moonie is going to fix dinner for herself and Spirit. I don't know what I'm going to eat. I still have no appetite.
