	This is my 45,678th post. Skywise finally got home at 8:20 am after working a 16 hour plus some minutes shift. He got the okay from his boss to come in two hours late today so he left later than usual along with the pies I spent yesterday baking. We've concluded that LP is not going to "settle down" with us. He's obviously opted to be the "neighborhood cat" and judging from the way he's grown since we first saw him, the lifestyle agrees with him. Last night, he was last seen heading east when Moonie took the trash out. He's also been observed going south. There are several houses in both directions so there's no shortage of opportunities for a friendly boycat mooch a free meal or two. We're pretty sure that someone has had him "fixed" probably late last summer when we didn't see him for two months since he doesn't display any of the behaviors of an "intact" tom cat. Our four seem to becoming accustomed to his comings and goings. WP is beginning to tolerate him with minimal hissing. The Prince has never had a problem with him and the other two seem to be benignly ignoring him. This is good. No fighting. After some research, I've concluded that I need to develop a "meditation/relaxation/stress relief" practice. Too many things affecting me -- this cholesterol situation is only the latest -- have "stress" as a cause or a factor making any given situation worse. So.... some time needs to be spent on that. Eliminating/minimizing the effects of stress won't make everything "go away" but it should help. When I was younger, I could ignore the effects of stress but now, I have to pay attention and deal with it, so I will. I've ordered a cd of a running stream -- gently moving water, birds singing, etc -- to help with that. It should arrive in a few days then I'll put some batteries in my portable cd player, break out the headphones and relax. One unexpected benefit from having my knees shot full of hydrocortisone is that I'm losing weight again. I was puzzled about it at first but then I realized that the swelling in my knees is going down, which means that the water being held in the swollen tissue is being released. I've dropped close to six pounds in the last week. And if this means that the Answer the Call uniform I'm having made is a little loose when it arrives, I won't mind. Better a bit loose than too tight and if I get to the point where it is too loose... well, I will joyfully pay to have one made in a smaller size! We're continuing to move forward with plans for our Ghostbuster franchise to be a nonprofit -- raising money for various charities around the area. The Gods know that there are enough of them around here. Right now, I'd educating myself how nonprofits work in general. Once I have a firm grasp of that, I'll school myself about what specifically Indiana requires. In a couple of other "mental files" I'm thinking about "how" money can be raised in one and how to get a vehicle and convert it to an Ectomobile in the other. The vehicle will probably be a much older model. It needs to be relatively inexpensive and so old that we won't have to worry about voiding a warranty! I think that an old Ford Club Wagon would do if we can find one in reasonably good shape with mileage that isn't too outrageous. A guy down the road does custom auto painting, collision repair and body work so getting white/red color scheme on the vehicle wouldn't be a problem if we aren't lucky enough to find one already in those colors. Even then, rust may need to be dealt with and paint refreshed. The place we take the van and the car for service should be able to handle everything else. NOW all I have to do is figure out how to get the money for this project. I'll find a way, I usually do! This post is long because, well, I will need to make ten thousand more posts before I reach another sequence of numbers like this one and I thought it required something special. I plan to be here for as long as I can pay the bills and I have the necessary cognitive function to make sense. So here's to the coming year -- Please Gods! May it be an improvement over the last three! -- and onward into the future!

	LP came in a few minutes ago, ate and is now "dead to the world" on our bed. I wonder if the other people on his "route" let him have the run of the house like we do....

	Afternoon. Electric bills and internet bill paid. Lunch eaten. Some grocery shopping done. Skywise is on his way to work. Hopefully today will be a shorter shift. Most of the mail that's supposed to be delivered before Christmas, has been mailed/processed so the workload should be easing up. Need to change my shoes and get busy.

	I've been working on the things that don't ever get clean in the dishwasher. And rinsing out SIXTEEN pie filling cans -- the fruit flies came out of the woodwork for those -- and getting other recyclables bagged up. STILL have presents to wrap....

	Some presents wrapped. More to go but they're up at the Old House and I'm not going to hike up there in the dark so I'll get to them tomorrow. Right now, I'm getting the kids something to eat. 	LP is still on the bed. He hopped back up when he was done eating. The Christmas Rush is winding down. Skywise just called and he's on his way home and I'm heading out. 	Afternoon. "There and Back Again" without undue incident. LP stayed the night and is still hanging around. He has a little bare spot on one ear and we think he was in a fight, or at least got swatted. I've told him he can hang around here are long/as much as he wants. Currently getting caught up before I get busy.

	Good afternoon and MERRY CHRISTMAS! We slept in this morning, me longer than anyone else. Since the girls value sleep as much as I do, they didn't want to tear into their presents at the crack of dawn which means.... sleep for the Mommy! Everyone loves their presents, even me. Skywise is already looking at "combat ready" lightsabers. I may have a Jedi Ghostbuster on my hands..... Dinner is in the crockpot. I ran it through the microwave to speed it through the cooking process. It should be done at a reasonable hour. Today, I'm going to dig into the Nonprofit Kit for Dummies LP stayed the night and he's still here. Last seen asleep on my bed...

	Afternoon. Got up late and went into town to eat and grab a few things at Walmart which wasn't all that crowded surprisingly. Since we got back I've been solving a problem with the handbook I've put together for my GB franchise. It has now been solved and that's one thing off my mind. Plenty of other things still on my mind but getting one thing off is *progress!*

	We went to Gatti's for an early dinner. I've done pretty much nothing but "cook and clean up" since Friday and I desperately needed a break. I still have cleaning up to do but at least the "pile" isn't any bigger.
