	LP spent last night "elsewhere". He came in a few hours ago and has been eating and sleeping since. He has mud in his fur so we're thinking that he was "sleeping rough" with one eye open last night. It rained last night and most of today which is why didn't get here last night.

	Morning. It will be next week before the van can be worked on. The towing company will be here some time after 11 to pick up the van. They'll leave it at the shop in the hope that there will be a cancellation and it can be worked on sooner. I hope so. Getting into and out of the car hurts.

	Went to town to eat. Ate and came home. Just got a deal on some fabric as I need to make some pants for when I have doctor's appointments and after I have my knee surgery -- whenever that will be.

	Going to start dinner. Skywise told me this morning that he had no idea when he'd be home tonight. The Christmas Madness has already started. I told him I'd start dinner at my regular time. sigh It's not even December yet......

	According to my quick and dirty calculations, Skywise could be finished with his second round of rehab by late May/early June. If that schedule holds, we "should" be able to do some of the "summer stuff" we missed this year.

	Afternoon. The Milk and Apple Run went off without a hitch. The Chick-fil-A we normally have lunch at will close on Saturday for remodeling so we'll be going to the one we've eaten at on some Saturdays over by the mall. It's a bit out of our way on a shopping day but the food is worth it. It's cold.

	Two major things on my mind today: What I need to do to get ready for Skywise's surgery in February. And.. what needs to be done to get the family ready for when I have my surgery. I've already told Skywise that if possible, I want to schedule my surgery for after September 1st so that we have a chance to do the things that we couldn't do this past summer. We won't be able to the "fall things" unless my surgery is scheduled for after the "Haunting at Waverly" Halloween event but July 4th and the State Fair will be doable even if I'm in pain -- which I will be. My main concern as far as "post surgery" is having things ready for Skywise and Moonie to take over operating the household while I'm laid up -- specifically cooking. They both can cook but Skywise hasn't done much of that since Moonie and I do the cooking and he usually isn't here. The cookbook will need extensive instructions.....

	LP has been gone for a few days which is not unusual. He came home tonight, came in at a little after 9 pm. He immediately started eating, followed by sleeping and more eating. Moonie noticed that he seemed to be favoring one leg, the left one. We looked and he's been in another fight. There are what appears to be two small wounds on his leg. He let me know that they're sore to the touch. I really wish that he wouldn't do back to wherever he goes since he always seems to get into fights there.

	Afternoon. Both the vet clinics are booked so no one could see LP today. 9:20 on Monday is the best we could do so we'll keep him inside and watch him closely until then. He doesn't seem any worse. We "think" that it could be a bad sprain and not a break. Moonie, Spirit and I will be watching him today to keep him [hopefully] from overdoing and hurting himself more.

	The auto shop just called. They want to speak to Skywise. Since he isn't around, they want him to call them on Monday. Monday morning is going to be busy. In other news, LP was definitely in another fight. He has what looks like a deep scratch on the underside of his chin.

	Afternoon. Back from Greenwood with more calendars than we have places to put them. I didn't find the cookbook I wanted so I'll have to order it from Amazon. Did find a book on curing cholesterol since my count was high the last time it was checked. Getting caught up before I get busy with the "To Do" list.

	Started reading the book. Ordered a box of oat bran through Amazon since the nearest store that sells it is in Greenwood and I won't get there again until Wednesday or Thursday. The first box will get me started and I'll pick up more later. It would have been nice to have been told that oat bran and niacin/B complex supplements would be very helpful in controlling my cholesterol....

	Morning. SunLord threw up on the bed before dawn, taking out three of the four pillows on the bed. I guess I should be grateful that he missed my hair. We'll be buying new pillows later today.
