	Penth grins and leaves, returning a short time later with a tall muscular man who definitely belonged in the "heavyweight" division. "Blade, this is Adam. Adam, this is Blade. Why don't the two of you get acquainted?" With no further ado, Adam charged with speed to match PD's own and in seconds, had "Blade" on the mat in a very uncomfortable position.

	Adam's grin got wider. "Okay. First I'll need to know what you know. Let's get started." At Adam's signal, PD closed and proceeded to give his/her new teacher a demonstration of his/her combat knowledge while Penth looked on.

	Penth catches the thought and puts in a call to the main room. In short order, three large glasses of hemo are brought to the training room. "Refreshments, gentlemen. Blade needs to be well fed before going into the ring. Otherwise, any bleeding might tempt him to snack." To PD, she sends silently. *Drink up. And have more later. It will help with the healing.*

	Yes, it should have and your strength should be back by now too. My friend suspects some sort of supernatural element has been incorporated with the technological so that our kind can be so profoundly affected. I'll give you a thorough magickal going over before we leave for the arena. We don't want any more surprises.

	*We have about 90 minutes. We'll send Adam ahead so he can get credentialed as your trainer/coach and I can get you checked out.* Penth turns to Adam. "Since you have joined the team, you need to get to the arena and get your credentials as Blade's trainer/coach. Our man, Hugh, has the paperwork but you need to sign in." Adam nods. "I should get cleaned up and get over there then." Penth nods. "Don't worry, I'll see that Blade is there on time." With a nod to Penth, Adam leaves.

	"Hmmmm Let's get started with the scan. We don't have as much time as I would like." Penth gets PD settled in a chair and begins to scan her magickally. "That hole is reacting like it was made by an enchanted weapon. I'm going to close it and cast a healing spell on you. But I want you to tell me if you feel anything out of the ordinary now or later. This is new territory and you seem to be the test subject."

	Penth calls up a circle to surround them and once it is in place, she focuses her attention on PD's wound and feeds "spell breaking/healing" energy into it. The spell offers some resistance but gives way under the weight of Penth's will. "How do you feel now?" she asks when she is done.
