	Morning. I went out like a light last night! I hadn't realized that I was that tired. It's a beautiful day here, already starting to warm up -- it's already 70 -- and the weekend looks great for 500 race activities. Gonna go make tea and grab a bit of breakfast. Later.

	My bit of breakfast has worn off probably because I've been puttering around in the living room trying to get things in order as well as coming when Skywise calls to "oooooo" and "aaahhhh" over the Prince of Midnight, who is currently sacked out on the bed after a morning of being unbearably cute. I want a Big Chef with a side of fries and a coke. Looks around. I guess I'm not yet up to speed on "instant manifestation." Goes to root around in the kitchen for something else.

	Never ate, decided to tough it out until dinner which is pizza and which I've started, should be eating in another 2 hours or so. I've been puttering around cleaning (still) and researching an organization I'm thinking of joining. I'm going to take my time to decide. At present, it looks like I might have to hide too much of what I am to fit in comfortably although it is almost a good fit but "almost" like "close" only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades and I'm tired of "almost" and "good enough". If I'm going in with "perfect love and perfect trust" I want to be reasonably sure that I'm going to get the same in return and NOT multiple knives in my back. Maybe I'll just wait for ascension...

	Dinner is in the oven, be ready in less than ten minutes. I had to start over when the yeast refused to "proof" and that delayed things. I'm working on my Journey post. I'm not sure that it makes sense yet but maybe it will after I've eaten. It will likely PO some people -- if they bother to read it -- but I find myself not caring much. Those who would have a extreme negative reaction would only be reacting out of fear and low vibration and those sorts are falling away and out of my life. My path and theirs no longer coincide. Existing high vibration connections are either being strengthened or reestablished. There are probably some new ones coming as well that I'm not aware of. Ah! Dinner's ready! �

	I've gotten my Journey post up. It makes a reasonable amount of sense, I think. Of course, there are those who think that the whole subject is nonsense so for those people, it will make no sense at all! Not my problem though. Maybe now that I've gotten the Journey post off my mind, I can concentrate on Chapter 10 and get it finished over the weekend. I'm still thinking about a replacement character's background. I've been trying various things and the "Ah HA!" moment has yet to arrive. sigh I know that it's only the first draft but I like to get as much "settled" in the first draft as possible. It makes the second draft go much faster. Anyway, I'm going to put it up on the desktop and see what I can do with it before bed.

	I was right. Getting the Journey post "off my plate" has sped things up enormously. I should get a lot done tomorrow. I'm going to head out now and get some sleep. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. I'm making headway in my house cleaning and "race preparations". The blank audio tape I ordered came today which resulted in a HUGE sigh of relief. We use Maxell tape exclusively and there were NO 120 minute tapes to be found anywhere. We had a couple but that wouldn't be enough if there were a lot of yellow flags, even with me editing out the commercials and such. So, once again, Amazon came to the rescue! I've already ordered enough tape for the next couple of years. The darn stuff WILL keep so why not, especially since it seems to be getting hard to find, or at least the 120 minute cassettes are. Since Skywise is working tomorrow, today is our last day of vacation and we're eating dinner out. I got to choose the place and since I have a craving for lasagna, I picked Fazoli's. We'll get there early since, it being Friday and all, it will get crowded quickly and Spirit doesn't particularly like crowded, noisy places so once I get the kitchen cleaned up today it will actually STAY clean until tomorrow sometime. This is a GOOD thing.... I'm going to finish up my break by working on Chapter 10 for a bit. Later.

	The "break" has stretched out considerably since I seem to be on a roll writing wise. I'll be stopping soon, I think, since there was some loose talk about going into town for a bite of lunch and to check on the van. The auto shop will be closed next week while they are on vacation and I'm afraid that if we don't get it today, we'll be without it all next week. This would not be a good thing since next Friday is payday/buy everything in sight day and we've gotten spoiled having the van to haul stuff in. We'll manage, I suppose. We could pick it up while the shop is closed and pay them later but that might result in a "theft report" so I don't know if we'll do that or not! Ah well, back to work. Later.

	We're back. Got the van. Did NOT get lunch. It was too late so I'm waiting for dinner. This business of "no lunch" after little to no breakfast is getting old. I have a headache from not eating. On the plus side, this section of Chapter 10 is just about done.

	Ice cream has been consumed. Tea is at hand. I have one last piece of new material to write and Chapter 10 will be done so I think it's safe to say that I'll get it finished tonight or tomorrow. Chapter 11 is the last and I'll start on it no later than Monday, Sunday being kinda "booked" if you know what I mean. SunLord just cornered a mouse in the living room. Fortunately, we got it in a "capture jar" before mouse guts were spread all over the floor and Spirit has released it in the woods. SunLord is now looking for his prey and is a bit grumpy. We are lavishing praise on him for doing his job as a mouser. GOOD KITTY!!

	I've been taking a break since it got pretty warm today and we're not turning on the A/C yet. It's still 76 outside according to the "dashboard." I'm going to be starting dinner soon. Something that won't heat things up too much. I haven't started on Chapter 11 yet but I've been thinking about some stuff I need to put in it. I've been poking around the net tonight. Things are pretty quiet everywhere. Holiday weekend, I suppose. The "small plane" traffic has finally let up. For a while there, it was like a highway up there. Lots of folks flying their small planes in for the race tomorrow. [FYI: We live about forty miles directly south of Indianapolis International Airport and several of their approach/takeoff routes go over our house.] Need to do something useful. Later.

	Morning! I need tea. My cognitive functions are mostly offline still and the connections to my fingers are somewhat 'iffy'. Skywise has gone into town to get gas for the lawnmower and to leave a note on the van at the auto shop since they haven't called us to ask "Why is your van in our lot since we know you picked it up?" I just hope Skywise thinks to put it on the dashboard instead of under the wiper. There could be rain today. Water's boiling. Later.

	Skywise is back. He spoke to the people at the auto shop -- she was working in their garden when he got there -- so that is as taken care of as it can be for the moment. He's started cutting the grass and I'll be starting my taping chores in about 45 minutes. Gods of Racing willing, there will be few yellow flags and NO rain so it will be a fast race. I'll be checking back in as I can. Everyone be safe and have a great holiday.

	The race is on and there has been a minor wreck already. One driver is definitely out but the other one MIGHT be able to get back in the race if they can fix his car fast enough. He has no realistic chance of winning but there are still championship points to be earned and 'lap money' to be made. Later..

	The race is officially half over and Skywise just came in from cutting the grass. The cats are happy. They don't like the big noisy thing! There was a new ascension essay posted today. I'm "mulling" it now. At lot of things in it are making me nod and go "yeah.." Time, and not much of it now, will tell.... Later.

	Skywise is out of the shower, has eaten and he's minding the taping now. I'M going to relax for a bit. I think we'll be heading into town when the race is over but I'm not sure. Right now, I'm just gonna go Fire in the pits but it's out now. 136 laps done. The car that was on fire is back in the race. The driver is likely sitting in a puddle of fire retardant....
