	Ate. Pounded out about two pages of new copy that "sets the stage." Just finished going over the "Occult Library List." This particular list covers the "usual" occult topics including books about the various Sabbats, "special" rites/practices (i.e. tantric sex and sex magick) and books about organizing groups and making tools; paranormal investigation instruction and "casebooks"; "scholarly" books about ancient history, mythology and such; a few cook/brewing books and a couple of books on swordsmanship which I may move off onto another list since I have a BUNCH of books on the topics of swordsmanship, firearms and such now. There are 373 books currently on the list. � If I were to guess, I would say that there are about a hundred books, more or less, that needed to be added to the list. Again.. But not right now. The eyes are killing me. This is only a FRACTION of our library by the way. Later....

	Watched Smallville. Wow. They covered a lot of ground in 60 minutes less commercials. Fortunately, the signal did NOT cut out tonight so I saw spared the hair pulling frustration. DEFINITELY gotta get the DVDs next fall. Working on dinner right now. Chili. Thinking about the next piece of the new subplot that I need to write. It's the one that's gonna lay out the "problem" that sets the whole rest of the book, or at least the first two-thirds of it, in motion. Need a name for Crowhaven's High Commissioner of Police..... Waiting for Nike to get home from work and online. BFF fer sure. Later.

	The top fits! It's a tad loose but while I like "skin tight" I'm not ready for it yet! Finished the shopping for one person on my list. Yay me!! What to get Skywise? The man is impossible to shop for! I got him a really good telescope a few years ago and haven't been able to top that since! Time to make like Pooh and "Think, think, think!"

	Back. The eyeballs were burning pretty good there for a while so I had to go close them. I think I may have dozed off but I'm not sure. Anyway, I have "non-burning" eyes and I'm not yawning so all's good. Except for the dirty dishes in the sink.... sigh I'll let them soak a bit longer and then have at them. After that, it'll be time to make dinner.

	Finally got in here to post! Skywise made a huge download last night and spent the morning updating the operating system on this comp. Then we went into town to pick up a few things including the chiffon I need to finish a belly dancing skirt. And now I'm here. Finally! Gonna be baking Spirit's birthday cake this afternoon. 	Spirit's cake is in the oven and I'll be starting dinner once it's out and the meat is reasonably thawed. And... Colts WIN AGAIN!!! It was a low scoring game against the Ravens [always satisfying to win there!] but it was a nail biter. Yeah, we chickened out again. Skywise and Moonie took the cats for a long walk and I didn't watch it alone. The Colts are 10 - 0. So far so good.....

	Been working on the laundry and Chapter 2. I'm making more headway on the laundry, truth to tell. I know what I need to write at this point in Chapter 2, it's just a matter of getting it the way I want it. A major, MAJOR turning point in the relationship between The Lady and Our Hero occurs in this chapter too and I'm gonna have to pull out ALL the stops for it. The fact that said "turning point" caused a number of female persons to throw MAJOR "real life" hissy fits when they read it is an indication of how important it was/is. �I've already started the "research" and Skywise is helping with that, thank goodness! I gotta do my fellow writer proud. So. I have a busy week ahead of me. Better get back to work. Later.

	Just finished another sink full of dishes. Yeah, they stack up over the weekend. Skywise usually has plans for me that don't include me spending large amounts of time in the kitchen during the weekends... Anyway, I've done some more thinking about this scene, looks like I may need to do some tweaking down the line but I think I can keep it from being too drastic. I'm also wondering if what just happened when I signed into YaHoo was a sign or an anomaly. It's never happened before so I'm wondering. Time will tell I guess.

	Afternoon. Back from town. We had a few last minute things to pick up. Omm: Thinking seriously of picking up the "Edward" doll from the Twilight movie series. New head mold (obviously) and a new body sculpt which is what I want to check out. "Ken" really needs to be more buff. The poor guy is being left in the dust by the G.I. Joes which really aren't suited for most "makeovers." sigh "Ken" and his buds really need to hit the gym.... "Bodybuilder Ken.." And on that note, I need to get busy. Later!

	Skywise is in the shower, getting ready to leave. His food is packed and the outgoing mail is tucked into the bag. Next up, make some tea and define the parameters of a drug/poison that I need for Book 3. Do I need to come up with a new name for curare or leave it as is? Run a couple more loads of laundry today. Double check to be sure that I have everything I need to make dinner on Thursday. And last but not least: sit back, relax and watch Justice/Karma come home to roost on someone who REALLY has it coming. Yeah. Life is really looking good right now and I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

	Might have to ditch the curare unless I can figure out how to make it work.... ....... Aha! � That'll work! And I'll use one of the names that the South American Indians use for it. They all sound suitably exotic....
