	Making some headway on the new stuff. It's starting to cloud up more. Wonder if the snow is finally on the way... Things are peaceful and quiet. I think I'll make the cookies tomorrow, I'm feeling lazy today -- at least as far as baking is concerned!

	Making progress with the "breaking free" part. I've put it to bed for the night. The creative functions are starting to slow down. Skywise informs me that the pies disappeared at speed. He recommends that the next time there's a pitch in, I make a minimum of two pies per sitting and three or four would probably be better since word about my pies has obviously gotten around! Right now, I'm thinking that I need to experiment with making pie in a 9 x 13 inch pan....

	Back from shopping, have stuff to wrap. Skywise is off to work. Need to decide which cookies to bake first. Think I'll do one kind today and the other kind tomorrow since I'm going to make a lot of both. Need to work on Chapter 2 and the new subplot. Need tea 'cause I can't type worth a damn.... Later.

	Gave up on the damned incantation. I simply could NOT get it to come out right so I wrote around it! On the upside, I was able to elaborate a bit on what was being done so that's good. Anything that adds to the reader's knowledge of the setting is a good thing if not done to excess. I probably should eat something.....

	Ate, took a very quick nap and got Skywise off to work. I'm now back at the comp working on Chapter 2. It's beginning to look like I might have to move the "naughty" stuff in Chapter 2 into Chapter 3. This sucker is getting LONG!

	Thinking.... Four years ago, December 21, 2005, I and another Original Poster [he knows who he is!] started posting something that changed "castle" history. �It was not universally well received, to say the least! But, we were happy with it and we had fun. Tonight, I started turning those bare bones posts into what WILL be an EPIC turning point in the lives of the characters involved. It is the culmination of over two full books of "build up" and it's gonna get my best. After all, I owe it to the person who believed I could do it when I didn't believe that I could. Steam is gonna rise from the pages... I promise.

	Skywise just flew outta here. Post Office emergency and it's SKYWISE TO THE RESCUE!! So much for him getting to relax a little before work. The boycats are doing their version of "Kung Fu Kitties on the Rampage! II" SunLord has already fallen out of the tree after the Prince had climbed up into the top of our bedroom closet and started knocking stuff down. Skywise went to fetch him down and how has a nice vivid scratch along the side of his nose.... So, all in all... a normal day, pretty much...

	Afternoon! Remember I said that I was done Christmas shopping? I lied. We went to Floral Gulch for lunch. Afterward, Skywise and Spirit went to the mall's Target store. He told her they were shopping for Christmas presents for her. She took off and came back with two presents. Then she got out her wallet and gave him the money for them! He asked to make sure that she wanted them as "Christmas presents" and she said "yes." So, I'll wrap them later and they will go under the tree. She picked out her birthday presents the same way. Our Spirit is a puzzling little thing..... Skywise has left for work and I'm getting caught up. Once I am, I'll be making the flour fly.

	Flour isn't flying yet. Still cleaning in the kitchen and working on a new walking stick. I'm a bit annoyed. I was trimming the end down so I could put a PVC end cap on the bottom to protect it and in trimming away the last little bit, I trimmed too much and now it's a bit loose. sigh I was going to fasten it on with a screw anyway but I don't want a gap that water can seep into. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get creative with wood putty. Oh well, it's not like this is the first time I've done that....
