	Back from town! Need to fold like a futon! Can't though, too much to do yet today. For one thing, a ton of supplies to put away! For another I still have a few packages to wrap. Need to see if the boycats will let us decorate the tree. Make cinnabons for tomorrow's breakfast then clean the kitchen so I can make dinner tonight. General picking up and finally, I hope... Write. I will sit here for 15 minutes and then... it's off to the races!

	Skywise is off to work -- probably there by now, in fact -- and I've been taking a tea break. Need to wash the dishes in the sink and get organized to make the cinnabons. THAT is a job I want DONE before I start dinner as I would like to be able to watch "A Christmas Carol" with the family tonight instead of being stuck in the kitchen!

	Morning and Merry Christmas! Got the presents opened and the girls have gone back to bed. Skywise is reading the books on Pearl Harbor we got him (thank the Gods for Amazon.com and One-click buying!) and I'm sitting her here with my tea and thinking about another roll. Skywise got me an "Edward" doll for my collection so I'm going to be breaking him out of his box later. Gotta check out the new body sculpt. Also need to get Christmas dinner started. Later!

	The "roast beast" is in the crockpot and the house is starting to smell really good. Skywise got me an "Edward" doll from the Twilight series. Mattel has the license for the 1/6 scale dolls and they did a new body sculpt for him. It wasn't that big a change, all of the "Ken" clothes will fit him (which the tweens and teen girls this product is aimed at will love) but what else they've done isn't immediately noticeable but the sculpt has one hip raised slightly. They've also made the hands more detailed. What I really like though is the way they did the head. Previously, doll heads could only turn side to side. This new design can also tilt up and down for more natural posing. That's something I hope gets into the "play line" where I get my dolls for "makeovers.." Yeah, doll geek...

	Dinner's over and I AM STUFFED! giggle But it was exceptionally good if I do say so myself. I'm going to get Chapter Two out. I'll probably just "proof" on it tonight unless my mood changes. Hoping Nike is okay. �She was supposed to spend the day with her dad and the weather out there is frightful! Later.

	Puttering around is done for the night. Tomorrow I'll have to do more than "putter" but that is for tomorrow! On Monday, I'll start my "Push through to Spring" routine. Life is crazy before Christmas but afterward, it settles into a reasonably predictable routine. I've got a book that needs writing and several that need reading. Hopefully, I'll get everything written and read before the Spring Equinox! I need to put together a "Goals List" for the next 52 weeks. I need to establish some habits (good ones!) that should last me the rest of my life. In fact, most of my goals involve establishing certain habits. So the next couple of days are going to see me working on that in spare moments....

	Afternoon! Skywise has been using this computer this morning and I didn't feel like fighting with the dial-up! Yeah, I know. Penthesilea is spoiled now. The storm that hit the plains during Christmas has finally gotten here. It's snowing pretty good but no blizzard conditions for which I'm pathetically grateful.

	Afternoon! We took off fast this morning, had to pay the electric bills and do some last minute banking. Lunch, got a few things at Wal-Mart and then home. �Discovered that communication between the accounts receivable and the accounts payable departments at the Scientific American Book Club isn't very efficient! sigh They have their damned money. Word just hasn't gotten around yet. [Yes, the check has already cleared. more sigh]

	Going over Chapter 2. Doing some touching up and tweaking. FINALLY came up with the plant name I needed so that pesky bit is taken care of. Skywise has the superlate shift tonight -- which I didn't know until about 2 -- so it's gonna be a long night. And he has the early shift tomorrow. Oh happy day. What's really POing me is that, at the moment, he has the super late shift on New Year's Eve. I'll be sweating bullets until he gets home. I'm REALLY hoping that they change it.

	Still working on Chapter 2 and dinner. Things are going well on both of them. The EPIC "naughty activities" are proceeding nicely. I have about five pages and that isn't counting the teasing beforehand. Still have a way to go yet but I don't know how many pages it will end up being. Back to writing.....

	I've been reading ahead in Chapters 3 and 4 to see what needs doing. Damn! I'm good! Gonna have to do a ton of rewriting on some of it though because of plot changes. Oh well. Good now, better after! Right now though, Skywise is home and I'm beat. Everyone sleep well and be safe.
