	Don't worry. The sun is out and it's quiet. A quick check of the radar on the dashboard widget shows nothing in the area. STILL too wet for a walk so I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Drat!

	Well that is something! The sun is out again and if we get no more rain tonight, it will be dry enough for me to take a walk tomorrow. There is rain in the weekend forecast but I'm hoping that it decides to miss us -- along with a lot of other people!

	Yep, better than nothing... Family can talk all they want to, it's just a certain person or two that I am getting fed up with... WOOT about how the sun is out and things will start drying up!! 	Careful, hon. You don't need indigestion and your Hubby might need his sneakers at some point soon! The sun has set and it's starting to get dark. There isn't any more rain in the neighborhood according to the dashboard radar, thank the Gods! Now that things seem to have settled down a bit, I need to start puttering around in the kitchen.

	Morning! The little guy was up through the night sick again, so we kept him home from school to be safe. Hoping he recovers over the weekend. We got up late due to the little guy being up through the night, and the Royal Wedding was still going on... So we're watching the tail end of the public festivities on one of our Canadian channels. Personally I think there was *way* too much media hype about this wedding. Despite that, I have to wish the newest royal couple all the best. I am Canadian and part of the British Commonwealth after all!! Oh dear Lord, some of the ladies' hats... NOT pretty at all in my mind!!

	We're back, caught a bit of the "wedding replay" on CNN while having lunch. Kate's dress was lovely, very understated although I couldn't tell if it was white and cream or white and a very pastel pink. Guess I'll have to wait for the official description and the DVD! Yeah, Skywise and I got up REALLY early for Charles and Diana's wedding but didn't for this one. We're a lot older and we had things to do this morning!

	Kate's dress looked like it was white to me. I loved it, it was very understated but beautiful at the same time. I was up early for Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding too, I was only 6 when they got married though!! Hard to believe that was 30 years ago already... Where did the time go???

	I finally found some good pix of the dress online. It was white and gorgeous! I like it better than Princess Diana's gown which I thought was a bit "much" even for a royal wedding. Skywise and I had a small television in those days on a wheeled stand so we just rolled it into our bedroom the night before, put it at the foot of the bed, set the alarm and watched the whole thing while still in bed! As for where the time went... -----------> Thataway!

	I loved Di but I really didn't like her wedding dress... It did NOT suit her in my opinion. Her tiara and veil did though, I liked those but not her dress. My mom got up with Daddy when he went to work because she wanted to watch Charles and Di get married too, so she got me up just before their wedding started. I think Kate had one of the prettiest gowns ever!! She's also one of the most beautiful women in the world I think... William has great taste!! (So does Kate!!)

	No, Diana's dress overwhelmed her. I suspect that she probably had very little input into the design as she had excellent taste in clothes once she started her public duties. Catherine is a beautiful girl and William, fortunately, gets his looks from his mother! Even better, in my opinion, is that these two really know each other, they met while in college, were housemates and have quietly been living together. This isn't some "whirlwind" romance, thank the Gods, so I'd say that they have as good a chance as any young couple these days, maybe better since they have probably thought about it harder than most young couples do.

	Diana was the best dressed public figure of her time... Her clothing was so pretty and it suited her!! Yeah, they've known each other at least 9 or 10 years of what I heard on the news... Hubby said that Catherine's looks are on par or better than Diana's were. I think they're equally beautiful in different ways!! Catherine also has a great sense of style. Very understated but fashionable at the same time. I think there are going to be a LOT of women in the world emulating her very tasteful style of clothing. Agreed, they have a pretty darn good chance because of their history as friends first then as a couple that slowly grew over time. I'm looking forward to hearing that Her Majesty is going to be a great grandmother finally!! They're going to have beautiful children I think!!
