	Well, things went in a different direction than planned today... I did open NR BUT only to find out ONE THING and I had it right so it was quickly closed before I could get into it again... I spent the day trying to figure out how to get moving in Untitled 8... And wound up getting Chapter 1 finished, PLUS chapter 2 started! I'm not sure if this current idea will pan out or not but we will see... It did take me OVER A YEAR to get NR really moving so this one may take just as long for all I know. It felt weird writing about certain things again but... If it's what I'm meant to do writing wise, SO BE IT!!!

	Editing Part One of NR, here we go... I haven't looked at that part a lot over the last month or so, so maybe I'll actually get something done with it. Y'all watch... Knowing my rotten luck, Hubby will come downstairs after the little guy's asleep. If you hear a big BOOM from my neck of Canada, that's why..................

	I just did the first word count on NR's Draft Two... Part One, Word Count: 97,604 Part Two, Word Count: 107,268 GRAND TOTAL: 204,872!!!! That's NR's SECOND DRAFT... I removed a LOT from it that is in Draft ONE... HOLY CRAP, I knew it was long, but NOT THAT LONG!!!

	NR went into draft three mode this evening... I am now trying to get it double spaced. Part One's double spacing is done and I'm working on Part Two's double spacing NOW.

	The double spacing is FINISHED.� NR went from about 321 pages long to 642.� ETA: Next step is to make sure a chapter starts on a NEW page....

	NR is now up to 660 pages long. I started each chapter on a new page. Oi. The footers with my name, page number and the name of the story are done too. Next up: The long and short synopses for publishers and agents on my list, along with cover letters. I am NOT diving into any of that tonight, I want to be alert and able to think... Right now, it's after 1 a.m. here and there is NO WAY IN HECK I'm starting anything that important this time of the night!

	The writing batteries are currently in "recharging" mode so I'm not working on any projects full time right now. I am trying to think of synopses for NR along with how to do the cover letters to publishers and agents though. NR is currently in perking mode before another edit. I'm going to let it go for as long as I can so any mistakes will REALLY pop out at me. I'm hoping another month or so will do it. In the meantime, I am trying my hand at photography so I have some sort of creative outlet. I can't live without being creative somehow and I've always liked taking pics so it's working for me so far. I did some pics yesterday, and they're up in Facebook but only certain trusted people can see them right now. I'd like to get back into the writing sometime soon though... I don't want to force it but I'd like to get cracking with Untitled 8 or RH so I don't wind up putting both of them in the "Dead Manuscripts/Ideas" file. SIGH

	So... Today was PRODUCTIVE despite me not getting Chapter 1 finished. I managed to get the Prologue revised to the other character's POV and even added a little to it, and started off Chapter 1 with something that I hope is powerful and enough to drag the reader in enough to continue reading the story. My eyes are crossed and the brain is MOOSH.........

	I'm looking at submission guidelines for various spots now and see I have yet another day of adding up the NR's word count, etc ahead of me... When the publishers say that writing a book is the easy part, they were NOT kidding!! Thankfully there are a couple of places online that do offer advice for writers about editing, the actual writing, and other stuff out there. It's going to be a HUGE help, that's for sure!! If anyone wants me, I'll be in La-La land, with eyes so crossed they're tangled and a brain that refuses to process anything other than working on getting NR into the final stages before I send it out to publishers!

	The word count is DONE and I'm going to start making notes for a condensing of the story for the synopses for the publishers on my list... FUN STUFF... NOT!!

	NR's final edit was finished yesterday at 3 p.m. Atlantic time. It's ready. Two things left to do before it goes out: Cover letters and putting together the rest of the packages for various publishers. The ideas for Untitled 8, or "WL" as the working title stands, are flowing... Thanks to the reread of NR over the last few days, I'm getting ideas for its sequel... And of course, brainstorming with Penth always helps because she knows some of the characters almost as well as I do... She did read NR from start to finish after all! LOL I may try to get a scene or two written up in U8/WL tomorrow after I'm done draft one of the cover letters... hehehehehe...
