Thinking it's time to go take a shower.  And then work all night long.  Getting a ton of work done with Jeremy gone for the next week.  Mostly because I have nothing much else to do, because my son is gone as well.

So my modem and router got unplugged by teenagers... doing things that teenagers do... those kinds of things that parents don't want to think about teenagers doing.  I think, perhaps, I'll be moving the modem and router to my bedroom tomorrow...

The last full day of school here is tomorrow and the non graduating students go back for 2 hours on the 30th to get their final report cards for the year... We'll have about 68 or so days of vacation after that... School doesn't start until the day after Labor Day this fall!! Shocked

So Wednesday marked one month of dating.  And it also makes it the second longest relationship of my life, with the only one longer being my marriage.

Generally, when I start dating someone, it's because they think I'm a freak and that I'll be lots and lots of fun.  Then, they realize, after about three weeks, that I'm a freak, and lots and lots of fun.  And they can't quite handle how much fun I am.  All the time.  The randomness gets to them quite quickly.  And they break up with me.

Not this one.  He knew and loved the random BEFORE asking me out Smiley

I've always maintained that you should get to know someone outside a "dating" situation before getting even semi-serious.  Fewer surprises that way.

Hi everyone!!

It's the last full day of school for my little guy... He's finishing off Grade Primary, and by the looks of things, he'll be in Grade 1 next year!!  Smiley

He has one partial day left to go, on the 30th, but that's to get his final report card of the school year and pick up anything else that he may have left behind work wise and possibly his indoor sneakers, etc.

A VERY special thank you to all of the teachers at his school, notably his main teacher, his PSA, the Special Needs teacher and the vice principal of the school, who looks after the elementary end of it. My son couldn't have done so well if it wasn't for them!!

And a big thank you to all teachers out there... Teachers ARE very special people after all!!  Smiley

I'm going to go check my SP Pets in another tab and see how much I can do in the Adult section while I still can... After today, I won't be in there so much until September, due to the little guy reading over my shoulder... Roll Eyes

Like you I can do my work in my PJ's if I want to... Being a stay at home mom and forum mod does have its advantages for going to "work". Like you, I don't even have to leave my house to do my jobs... Wink

Just went and checked on a site I haven't been to in a while, mainly because the owner abandoned it, and found that either the owner got around to deleting it or the outfit supplying the server space got tired of wasting space on it.  Either way, it is gone as if it had never been.  Smiley Yeah, I'm laughing. I remember all the grand plans that were made at its founding as well as certain remarks that were made that I'll keep to myself.  Smiley I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Getting a forum online is relatively easy.
Keeping one going is damned hard.
