I just checked our weather forecast for tomorrow... High of -9C/16F with a windchill of -19C/-2F.

Fun stuff. NOT.

I'm going to have that infared heater cranked up to the max tomorrow!

The January cold is hitting now
Supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow, which means my feet are going to go numb while at the bus stop because I don't have any decent shoes.

Yeah, the same kind of fun I'd be having with my hotties!

On that note, everything is seeming funny and I'm getting giggle fits. That's the sign I should get offline and get my caboose to bed... So I'm going to get out of here and crawl into my nest of blankets for a few hours of shut eye.

I'll be around at the usual time in the morning, I have to check the school board's site at 6 a.m. to see if there IS school or not. We're getting up to 2 inches of snow tomorrow morning so that's up in the air, just like it was this morning after the mess we got yesterday.

You are all having unseasonably cold temps... for the most part here it's been the opposite, they are warmer than normal.  So strange.  Speaking of a good sleep, my Bloke had his follow up with the sleep clinic today and he will be getting a cpap machine.  He's been stopping breathing 7 times an hour on average (from their study), so this will be an immense relief, he will get a better sleep, it will stop the snoring and I won't have to be poking him at night to make sure he's breathing...

When I bothered to answer the phone today I was called "Sir"  and they wanted to tell me how my "Windows operating system" was a problem.  I told them there's no windows here, had to tell them twice because my voice keeps cutting out lols  I am so fed up with that scam... they just never stop

In good news I got my knitting needles we ordered from ebay, only 2 1/2 weeks. That's actually pretty good when it's coming out of Hong Kong

The package that is supposed to have my shoes in it was processed through the Chicago facility around 9:45 Thursday morning and then proceeded to Customs. (The Chicago staff took their own sweet time updating the tracking. I've been checking it ALL DAY!) Last time, it took 24 hours for the package to clear Customs. Nine forty-five on Friday morning will be 24 hours. It took approximately 9 hours to get to Indianapolis once it had cleared Customs and then approximately 3 hours from there to my door last time. I "could" get the package tomorrow although Saturday is more likely.
Everybody keep your fingers crossed it is the right package this time.....

A few flakes of snow are coming down but the school board site will not be updated for a few more minutes.

I am tired and thinking huge amounts of coffee are in order for the day.... 

If there is school, I'm going to be working on Untitled 8 while Son's gone. If not... Well, I will figure out SOMETHING to do!

I'll update once I find out if there is school or not.

I am now eying Sanctuary's FB group banner and debating on whether or not to make a unique banner just for the group... Hmm....

Hey I HAVE to do something creative today... Son's home and that means writing is out the window for the most part unless it's editing or proofing.... I can do photography without him disturbing me TOO much, it doesn't take as much brain power as writing, nor does it need as much concentration and I can do it with noise, unlike the writing....

Our road was finally plowed about 5 minutes after my last post and the guy was dropping salt too... That's going to help Hubby get home safely... I HOPE!

That's a heat wave for us this time of year... It's currently about -12C or about 10F, with a windchill of -20 or -4 in American. This winter seems to be colder for us than the last few, temps were hanging closer to the freezing mark the last couple of years.

At least it stopped snowing for the time being.............

Yeah, that's not good "cold weather" clothing Sita. I wear at least athletic shoes this time of year when it's warm, boots if it's cold, and if it's warm, a biker style leather jacket... If it's REALLY cold, I wear a heavy jacket that Nanny gave me or one of my husband's hockey sweaters under another jacket, with a turtleneck under that... Hockey sweaters are warm even though they're lightweight, which is what I like.

I have a polar fleece sweater on now and am considering putting on another one over it because despite having the infared heater cranked up, it is COLD in this house. We have wind and our house is old and drafty so that means I'm frozen... I grew up with wood heat and anything below 72F or 22C is cold to me this time of year.
