Hubby hates mowing off anything other than grass so we let our lawn get rather high while we're enjoying the odd flower that pops up or anything else that we like. We generally get a nice spread of buttercups between our house and the neighbors to the north (their south lawn is connected to our north lawn with no fences or anything) and a lot of dandelions in that area too.

They're bright spots of color on an otherwise boring stretch of green.... Our flowering crab tree isn't in bloom yet but when it does bloom, I'll get pics of it. It has bright magenta blossoms and it is GORGEOUS!

BARF!!!

I have to toss some into the dryer shortly. Hubby is working again tonight (he was scheduled to) so I washed his uniform quickly while he's home.

One load is in the dryer and a second one is in the washer. Whether or not I do a third will depend on how fast the first two loads dry.

In other news, I swear if I see "THAT" particular phone number pop up on the caller ID again, I'm REALLY going to tell someone off. They call here sometimes upwards of ten times a day, sometimes as late as 10 or 11 P.M.!!!! It's REALLY annoying... If we don't answer, that means we are NOT interested!

It's a stinking telemarketer from one of the banks we deal with. I wish the "do NOT call" list included them trying to sell us insurance because I'm to the point of ripping some dimwit's heart out!  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

You may have to do that. In person and to the bank manager if they make enough of nuisance of themselves.

I'm not sure. I've asked the insurance part of the company to STOP calling us more times than I can count but apparently, the number gets put on the list AGAIN each time they have a "new and improved" policy... Because I do have a small policy with them. If I had known that they would call me each time they up the prices of the "better" policies, I would have NEVER signed up for it. I'm going to threaten to cancel my policy if they call here again, AND threaten to move my accounts to another bank, just to see what happens. If that doesn't get them to leave me alone, or me actually doing it doesn't, I don't know what will!

By the way, the "Do Not Call List" doesn't include companies we deal with, so I can't complain to the government about it.

However, we have gotten calls from "Unknown Numbers" that were both scams and companies calling... Just mentioning the fact we're on the do not call list and I was going to alert the RCMP was enough to make them hang up in one HECK of a hurry..........

I opened the window in the kitchen just before I went out to the bus stop. The entire time I was outside, Cat sat in the window, telling me off. Roll Eyes

She was so loud I could hear her all the way over at the bus stop, about 75 yards from my house!!  Smiley
