This is IT for me with this series. Book 1 was supposed to be a stand alone novel but "someone" neatly dropped the idea of having a sequel to it on my lap and Brain loved it! Smiley I don't care if my audience wants to know the backstory of "so and so's" grandparents, parents, their cousins or whatnot.... I am DONE with this family after this and plan on wrapping things up so tightly that if anyone tries to untie them, it will go KABLOOEY!  Smiley

So far, so good. I've added in a bit of a better description of the leading lady so that's out of the way. The bit I added into Chapter 2 to make things a little more "teary" and logical flows really well where I slapped it. Continuing on in Chapter 2 now....

Yeah, STOOPID over here kinda left things TOO wide open when she thought she was wrapping everything up in a bow.  Smiley DUH...  My own dumb fault... Oh well, at least a few more q's from Book 1 will be answered and all! Smiley

Gotcha. I'll be here for another hour or so. I'm only in the middle of Chapter Seven's revisions at the moment so I'll be idle but I'll be here.

True!! Or, after I had let the manuscript "perk" for a while, realized that I had left things WIDE OPEN and started it without a gentle nudge in that direction.  Smiley Since I didn't want to leave some of the characters behind anyway, Book 2 seemed like the perfect solution.

I'm still doing the full reread... I'm being VERY careful now that I'm into the "over 18" stuff.... Son has been ULTRA good so I'm not complaining... He'll be getting his computer time at the regular time tonight. There's school in the morning, it's the second to last full week of it before summer vacation starts.

I haven't done any writing today, just a little tweaking. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get back at it tomorrow. Skywise's eye is still giving him trouble and I honestly don't know if he'll be going to work tomorrow so plans are up in the air.

I've been tweaking here and there, no actual writing. I'm done the reread and have added a couple of things here and there, took a couple of things out and am contemplating a little more polishing on the days that I won't be able to write this week.

On that note, I have a little boy who wants his computer time and my eyes are starting to protest. I'm going to head out for the night and hand things over to Son.

We've got a nice, gentle rain going. I hope it keeps up all night. Thunderstorms we don't need but the ground is starting to dry out so it's time for rain.

Gotcha Penth. I'll be here but quiet, I'm trying to do some more additions and revisions to Book 2. I've also updated the dedication for Book 1... Someone is NOT going to like it when they finally see it... Oh well, if they had SUPPORTED me instead of demeaning my work, getting snarky by posting some crap about me being "jealous" of other authors, and basically rolling their eyes each time I posted something about my writing, their name would have been on the list instead of being left out!

Back to Book 2 before I get a headache......
