DONE for now. I'm back in the pink rose profile and I'm going to edit for a while before Hubby gets home from work... I'll attack the sink full of dishes after he calls in a couple of hours....

Afternoon! We're back.

I found out last night that this is an "Up and Down Week" [our slang for alternating early and late work shifts.] with today being "down" (late shift) so there is definitely a nap in my future! We got everything done in town that we needed to so we can cruise through the rest of the week if needed. I will now get caught up.

I'm back for a couple of hours too. I'm worn out between the early morning, not much sleep, writing and the CTS AND neuralgia acting up...  Smiley

I managed to get a couple of pages added to Chapter 29 and was at the start of a VERY key scene when the guys got home... I may work on that a little more tomorrow night IF I can. I want that one DONE so I can get on with more building up to the UH OH bit.......  Smiley

I'm going to get a glass of decaf diet Pepsi and get caught up now... I've had enough coffee to set the Bluenose II afloat.............  Smiley

I was sleeping pretty well until the sun came up and the cats started prowling which included the Queen walking across me at random intervals. By the time they settled down and I could go back to sleep, it was time to get up. Grrrrrrr.......

Roll Eyes She followed me upstairs last night about 3 a.m. after I came down to get a glass of water during my two hour insomnia period last night and decided she was going to lay on top of me, then Hubby, then back to me, then start clawing me in the face when I wasn't petting her....... Yeah, gotta love them though.

In other news, I've found "fabric to die for" online for that dress pattern I found yesterday..... at $22.99 a yard. It's a black/gray/metallic silver brocade which explains the price. Brocades are pricey by definition. Not having the pattern in my hot little hands yet I can't make a realistic fabric cost estimate but I figure $200 should be in the ballpark. Yeah, this trip into insanity is going to be expensive....

That sounds beautiful, Penth. I can't wait to see a photo of the dress when you finally get it done!

I just finished a quick reread on what I wrote today... There is a scene in it that may "not" make the final cut because it's seeming to drag things out a little. I'll think about it for a while, but for the moment, it'll stay in Draft 1. If I take it out, it's an easy fix... Just cut out the scene itself and go right to the parts that start leading into the UH OH bit. It means I have more work ahead of me to finish Chapter 29, but that's okay if I have to do it.

I'm still in that !@#$%^&* transition mode between writing and mother/moderator......... The music is ON in the earbuds and hopefully the guys don't bother me much until I fully regain the balance................  Smiley

It's gonna be a while before I make it. For one thing, I need the $$$ for the materials and secondly, I intend for there to be considerably less "sand" in my hourglass figure before I lay out that kind of money for a clothing item that isn't strictly necessary.

I may zip up a detailed outline of the scene that I was working on when the guys got home... I have a general idea of how it's going to go but I want to jot down some stuff that's been bouncing around in Brain... Hopefully the guys leave me the HECK alone while I'm doing it, else THEY may get a dirty sock in their faces for a freaking change!! Roll Eyes
