	waves It's been the usual peace and quiet here except I've been zooming along with editing and stuff.... I'm finally recovered from Monday and Tuesday so I'll be here until about suppertime, no worries if Skywise decides y'all need to go somewhere. Son doesn't have a lot of homework to do tonight, we managed to get most of it done over the last 3 days and only has a little reading and maybe mental math to do tonight, and that won't take too long knowing him! LOL I just took a peek at a blog entry from this date last year... I was in Chapter 36 of Book 1 back then, and you know what? I think I have more written up for Book 2 this year than I did for Book 1 last year this time, because of the 39 pages I have waiting to be spliced in, from the UH OH part! Two books in two years, or close to getting two done in about 2 years. Wow. No wonder why I'm walking around like this most of the time these days!

	That's good 'cause it appears that my internet service provider is having hardware problems again. One second I'm "all systems GREEN" and the next I'm offline. sigh Talk about aggravation!

	Great. SIGH Just freaking great. Thank the gods we have a cell phone tower not that far away from here, because that means I always get at least a good signal for the turbo stick, if not a perfect one... I can't install the dial up modem in this one, because it's a "slimline" model (narrow tower) so it's turbo stick or nothing here nowadays. I've got the editing from the last few chapters and the UH OH part (what's written so far) out of the way, a blog entry was done, and I'm now at odds on what to do next. Hubby is home, so no actual writing for me, and I really don't want to burn myself out with editing, etc because that means I'll fry the brain again before I write tomorrow. I may install WinZip on here (I have a fully paid version of it on disk) and go download a few fonts for the computer... And see if I can install the old version of GIMP. The new one and Windows 8 HATE each other. Hopefully the version I have saved on the external drive will work on this one, AFTER I get the newer version OFF... Gods, this is nuts. No wonder why people warned me against Win 8... Don't get me wrong, I am getting used to it and like it so far, but sometimes it's a bloody PITA!!!

	Hmm... Maybe updating the author's website wouldn't hurt. I DO need contact information on it, and adding links to things like my FB page, etc on a separate tab would work... I'm gonna be here but quiet again!

	Good luck with the GIMP and the rest of it. I really don't know WHY the software developers can't make the effort to have everything compatible or nearly so. sigh ETA: Just got kicked off again (12:17 pm). You know it's bad when you can't connect to your system's diagnostic control center. It's gonna be along day....

	Okay and yeah, GIMP is driving me nuts. I'm almost done updating the website, it's taking me a while between notifications in FB and other stuff. I soon have to head to the bus stop too, so things are a tad bonkers here right now. I'll be here for a couple of more hours. No worries. Hope to see you back before I go for the night Penth!

	Poor Cat. She barfed more than once and we have concluded it's the food. It has red dye in it and she's one of the furbabies who has a sensitive tummy and can't handle it. So we'll be taking the red parts out of it and getting her new stuff - without red dye in it - tomorrow so we don't have to worry about a piece or two of it getting into her dish by accident. She's fine, she's curled up on Son's winter jacket and looking adorable as always. Hopefully no more barfing for her due to the food since I took out all of the red pieces from her dish. I'll still be keeping an eye on her though, to be safe. She's gotten lots of snuggles from all three of us, and I'll make sure we leave the bedroom door open so she can snuggle up to us tonight and give me lots of kitty smoochies. Her whiskers TICKLE! LOL

	I'm probably going to get shot for saying I'm NOT a fan of anime, but I do like playing "Yu Gi Oh: Power of Chaos, Yu Gi the Destiny" on the computer. There is another game in the series, "Joey the Passion" and I did find a copy of it online... SO TEMPTING to order it. It's under $20 and Hubby is thinking about it... I'm going to see if I can talk him into it! Hehehehehehe... On that note, it's time to start supper so I'm going to get offline and hand the computer over to Hubby for a bit. Sorry I missed you Penth. See you sometime tomorrow and hopefully your internet will be working right!

	In long enough to post, I hope. Been working on Book 4. I'm currently figuring out how to kidnap Our Heroine AND her daughters. And THEN, where are they taken and HOW does the rescue party find them. While thinking, I've been hand hemming the first of what will be a dozen black dinner napkins. Keeping the fingers busy helps with the thinking don't ya know?

	Morning. I'm in for a couple of hours before I start writing. There are two key scenes I want to write up today and hopefully I can do both. I'm thinking that "big revelation" is shown too soon, so I may do an "insert" and put it in before the relevation instead. In other words, give the characters a bit of a break before things really start moving again. They're going to need it. It's time to get caught up. I'll be around until Hubby leaves for work.

	Getting the base for the permanent top on the workstation just became high priority. The SunLord just jumped from the workstation to the counter and the temporary top on the workstation shifted alarmingly -- have I mentioned that SunLord is a big, healthy boy? -- but nothing fell. Next time something might so..... There will be much measuring, cutting, drilling and "securing" going on this weekend.

	I'm in transition mode, but I will be here until Hubby gets home from work. He has to pick up food for Cat and do a few other things so I'm not sure what time he'll be here, my best guess is around 4:30 my time. I'm still trying to talk him into letting me order "Joey the Passion" from the Power of Chaos series (Yu Gi Oh computer games). Maybe next month.................

Hopefully they saw the stuff about how fast my SECOND book is going and getting snarly and seething because I have a life and they DO NOT...
