	I should be doing something useful too but I'm still pretty tired. I think Skywise is in better shape than I am. I've always needed more sleep than he does, fortunately. If he was like me, he couldn't keep up these hours.

	I am disgusted. The letter carrier decided that our driveway was too snowy to drive down -- and didn't want to walk -- so in addition to everything else we need to do tomorrow, we have to stop at the post office and get my package which wouldn't fit in our box. Damned wimp! Whatever happened to "neither rain, nor snow nor gloom of night"? *snark!

	Morning. There's a few inches of snow down and schools are closed. I have to stay up though because I have to reschedule an appointment and the place opens at 7:30.... It'll help me sleep tonight, I'm on bedtime duty, Hubby works this evening until closing.

	Appointment rescheduled for tomorrow morning. Now to get more coffee and try to defrost. Hopefully the plow will go by soon and SALT at the same time..... Temps are supposed to go up above freezing at some point later today and I hope it doesn't turn to freezing rain..........

	Afternoon. We picked up my package. At least two more packages are scheduled to be delivered today. Hopefully they WILL be delivered and we won't have to go into town to pick them up tomorrow! Now to get caught up.

	Skywise is on his way. Today "should" see the load start to lighten. Hope so anyway. I opened my package and both pairs of shoes fit. I got one pair of "sensible but stylish" black shoes and a pair of totally frivolous metallic silver shoes with a bit of bling on them. The black ones will probably need heel cups since they are a little loose in the heel but since they have a strap I can't walk out of them and rubbing is kept to a minimum. The silver ones are open at the heel with ankle straps so the width of the heel isn't an issue. NOW all I have to do is relearn how to walk in heels. I haven't worn them regularly in over thirty years so I'm going to have to practice.

	Having fun being ebil, VE? I've been working downstairs. I found the tree skirt, deployed a new 15 foot medium duty/grounded extension cord and mounted an outlet strip with overload protection on it on the side of the stairwell, hooked the two up and now have more grounded outlets in that spot. I'm careful about "loads" so don't worry.

	Time to get going... Son and I are going to finish our cleaning and then we'll be watching TV with Cat. Garfield's Christmas is on tonight and it's NOT the holidays without it!! I may be on first thing, I may not be... Son's appointment is scheduled for 7:50 tomorrow morning and with these roads being awful, we're probably leaving pretty darn early so we can get there on time, if not in pretty much right away. 	Nite! I needed to get prone -- the legs were giving me fits! -- and naturally, I fell asleep. Skywise's hours "should" be easing off soon as the mail volume starts dropping. It's getting too late to mail things for Christmas so I'm hoping that by Saturday, Monday at the latest, things should be getting back to something resembling "normal" which in our case will mean him getting home around midnight and NOT having to work on Saturday. Some "two day" weekends would be nice!

	Doing laundry and trying to find a piece of existing music that could serve as Our Hero's signature theme. I'm looking/listening to instrumentals that are two to four minutes in length with something around 3 minutes being ideal. I have over a thousand tracks in my iTunes library but a LOT of it is bellydance music and that really doesn't suit Our Hero's super sexiness, relentless masculinity and potential for inflicting sudden death as needed.....
