	Morning. We're home. The paycheck is deposited, the shopping is done and I've had aspirin. The left leg is giving me ALL kinds of attitude today and it currently hurts from knee to ankle. NOT fun when you're trying to steer a cart through Walmart. School is out here and the place was full of shoppers with kids and unaccompanied 'tweens and teenagers. sigh It wasn't quite at the level of "madhouse" but it won't be long. Now to get caught up while the aspirin works....

	We have 3 "alpha cats": The Queen, SunLord and Danger Princess. SunLord wants to be the "dominant" cat and the Queen is of the opinion that he can have the job if he wants it as long as he remembers that SHE IS THE QUEEN and he seems to so it's cool between them. DP is another story. She's been giving SunLord attitude whenever she doesn't feel like being dominated. Their latest disagreement was this afternoon while they were all outside. Both girlcats and the SunLord are still outside in the woods, hanging out until their tempers cool. I expect that SunLord will be the first to return. This is where the food is......

	Afternoon. We're back from Greenwood. I picked up a 32 GB flashdrive to put the larp stuff on -- specifically the rulebook and other documents. I've got a 16 GB already for financial records and such. I'm not sure where the character records will go. Probably on the 32 GB one. Moonie has just handed me tea so I guess I'll drink it and get caught up.

	This week has been crazy. Stuff happened in Dartmouth today. That's about 90 minutes or so east of us. Combine that with other stuff that happened this week and I'm now wondering if there's something in the drinking water in the Maritime Provinces that's making everyone here go LOCO. SIGH Writing is coming along again, and the squirrel on speed feeling is staying at bay right now.

	I agree that there's a lot of "intense" energy out there and some people don't handle it well. I'm going to go put in some time on the Utility Transport. Once today's work is done, I'll be able to put the wheels on it tomorrow then all that will be left is the handle. After that ..... FIELD TEST!

	Hubby is gone, Son is watching Star Trek on VHS, and I'm busy getting things lined up right in Ten... I see a couple of scenes forming in my head, and I want to get the details down before I forget them... Not actually written up, just detailed outlines of each. Where this one is starting to occupy my mind more and more, I have a feeling I'm going to be working on it full tilt this summer even with Son home... And when I'm online, I'll be consulting the local beta about different things, like making sure things are right with descriptions of the area amongst other things. Busy busy, busy! THUD!

	Morning. "Busy" is good. It's chilly and rainy here. There's something out in the woods that has the cats on alert so they're parked at the back door and various windows and growling. All except the Queen, she's asleep on our bed.

	SUCCESS!! I've fooled Pages into doing what I want with some Avery Postcards/Index cards without using Avery Software. FYI: In my NOT SO HUMBLE OPINION, the Avery site sets an unbeatable standard for running a visitor around in circles.

	The wheels are on the Utility Transport so all that's left is the handle. I need some hardware to mount it but I can get it assembled up to that point and I'll do that tomorrow.

	I'm going to be working on Ten today in between things... I'm even going to be offline working for a couple of hours. I'm trying to squish in as much writing time as I can before summer vacation... I have only 4 or five days left, and I'd like to get as much of Ten's first draft done as I can before that. I'm also going to be trying to discipline myself to write when the guys are home, preferably when it's just Son and he's watching his VHS tapes. So I'm going to be working on Ten all summer long, and hopefully will write decent stuff even when I have a 10 year old nagging at me constantly!

	Sunshine, warm temps and sky high humidity. Looks like summer is FINALLY here in my end of Nova Scotia! WOOT! The only thing I ask is that NO hurricanes or tropical storms wail us.... And the bug population stays DOWN this year. Our provincial bird, the mosquito, had a huge population explosion last year and I dont' want to see a repeat of that again this year. Ew.
