First load is out of the dryer and the second one is in. I'll start another load as soon as that one is dry.  I don't like to leave wet clothes in the washer. I tend to forget about them....

Dishes time. BARF!!!

Thank the stars the only thing I have to do for school is get Son's lunch ready. His folder and clothes are ready to go. I think they're done homework for the year so that's one less thing to worry about.

I'm on bedtime duty tonight, Hubby works this evening until closing.

I'm still doing laundry. The third load is in the dryer, two loads are waiting to be put away and as soon as this load is dry, I'll throw another one into the machine. It's supposed to start raining either tonight or early tomorrow and keep it up -- off and on -- until Thursday so I'm trying to get as much done as I can today so I can relax with a book or whatever while it rains tomorrow, Wednesday and maybe Thursday.

We've been getting flash showers on and off. One of my local pals and my cousin's wife was complaining about it. I say "Welcome to late spring in Nova Scotia!" LOL

Hubby brought Son's car seat into the kitchen the other day and Cat has claimed it as "HERS"... She's been napping on it. I'm going to have to take the lint brush to it before it goes back into the car. Cat is shedding enough in one day to cover three more cats her size. Shocked I really have to brush that furball, even if she despises it!

That cat does adore Son. She'd sleep on his head every night if we let her into his bedroom. LOL

Appointments and errands this morning. It's going to be a crazy day.

Cat has been VERY vocal this morning. She's been perched on Son's car seat and any time anyone goes near her, she meows at them. ("Me-NOW!") Taking her place as the Royal Overseer or what??? Roll Eyes

I'm expecting furry insanity after we get home. Roll Eyes

Afternoon.
We've been to town and back already. It's a damp, chilly day but I'll take that over high humidity and triple digit temperatures which Skywise and I were talking about this morning. Rain is in the forecast so I may get knocked offline but nothing severe is expected, so if it rains, I'll curl up with the Queen and a book.

The first of the three books I've ordered on writing arrived today. It's Philip Athans' The Guide to Writing Fantasy and Science Fiction.  I think that I've got a pretty good handle on the subject but there is always more to learn... Smiley

Morning.
It's been raining like "heck" off and on since about 1:30 am. The rain is currently "off" but the satellite signal isn't the strongest so it won't take much to knock me offline. I'm gonna get caught up and hang around for as long as I can. The first thing to check is the radar....
