	I've "been useful" off and on all day. I got a few more small projects worked on and the usual round of "housewife type stuff". The Queen and I also did some snuggling. The little feline Romeo gave up mid-afternoon and either went home or to try his luck elsewhere. We really don't mind him roaming around as long as he isn't trying to get in the house or getting our cats in an uproar. Skywise isn't home yet but I'm going to head out now. Tomorrow is grocery day and we'll be hitting the ground early. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Greetings! We've been home for a while but I had some bills to pay so I got that out of the way first. I have two more to pay but they won't go out until tomorrow so I can wait until later. Since the ground has FINALLY dried out and therefore the septic system can handle the load, today is MAJOR laundry day. Oh joy! Oh well. It's gotta be done so it will be. I hope to work on a couple of things I want to do in addition to what I have to do. The tea machine is bubbling away so in a few minutes -- tea and "catch up!" Post # 35,757

	Skywise is home and he has the entire weekend off. YAY! Then starting Monday he'll be on the super-late shift for two weeks. I'm hoping that we'll be able to knock a few things off of the Project list during that time. Anyway, I'm heading out to get some sleep. I hope I do better than I did last night. 	Greetings! It feels like summer which is good since it's nearly AUGUST! It's probably going to be a quiet Sunday. I've already gotten the meat for dinner out to thaw and as soon as I can get the wrapper off, into the crockpot it goes -- a hot meal without a hot kitchen. Now to make some tea and get caught up.

	Fit to be tied! SOMEONE UNPLUGGED THE CROCKPOT SO DINNER HAS NOT BEEN COOKING ALL THIS TIME! Fortunately, the chicken -- which went in frozen -- is still mostly frozen. BUT I AM MAD AS HELL THAT THE CROCKPOT WHICH IS ALWAYS PLUGGED IN WAS UNPLUGGED! So now, instead of being nearly done, dinner is just now getting started. I have NO idea when it will be ready and Skywise is also fit to be tied....

	We're back -- obviously! After lunch I succumbed to unbearable temptation at Walmart's sewing pattern table and purchased Simplicity patterns 1024 and 1036, the former being a Wonder Woman costume and the latter for Supergirl and Batgirl costumes. Simplicity has figured out that cosplay is hot, hot, HOT, an extremely popular hobby that has been consistently underserved and are taking steps to remedy that. McCall's was making overtures to the cosplay market earlier in the year and I should see what they have in their fall/Halloween catalog.....
