	I've been looking at pictures of the Blizzard of '16 and wondering if there is a snowblower attachment available for our lawnmower 'cause I'd really rather than Skywise NOT shovel the driveways out from under 27 inches of snow!!

	The canner is assembled and just barely fits where I planned to put it. It's gonna need a dust cover though since according to the directions you are supposed to store it with the cover (and the pressure regulator) upside down and I don't want the gasket inside the lid to get dusty. I'm going to keep it in the box for the time being since a little rearranging in the kitchen is gonna be necessary.

	In addition to shoving things around in the kitchen and getting dinner started, I've been figuring out how to can the family's favorite soup since it is a stew with a flour based gravy. I have a plan that I'll write down and try at some point.

	Supergirl was good tonight. Supergirl and Martian Manhunter against a White Martian. Next week looks like Supergirl vs A fake Supergirl. That should be interesting too.

	Greetings. Not feeling all that well this morning. I woke up with a slight headache and a stuffy nose. At least we were able to contact the trash company about our missed pickup -- they don't make it easy! -- so after sitting at the road since Sunday night, it will be picked up some time on Thursday. 	Greetings. Skywise is on his way to work and I'm getting organized. We did our grocery shopping today and after we got home I discovered that the FBI is conducting a raid in the neighborhood. Not close fortunately but we know where the house is. http://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/fbi-investigating-house-in-martins... It's a good time for a raid since that section of road is closed and there is only one way in or out. Most of the commenters on fb seem to think that it's a pot raid but I don't think that the county sheriff's department would need the FBI for a pot bust. Skywise agrees so it is either a VERY LARGE pot bust -- talking millions of dollars and interstate or international connections -- or something else. Personally, I think "something else" since the FBI is involved and not the State Police.

	Skywise just called as he's pulling into work and reports some unusual activity involving sheriff's department cars and an unmarked dark car on his route to work. It "could" be connected to the FBI raid. I'll check the news at 4 or 5 and see if there's anything new.

	I've spend my "resting the eyes" time -- which seems to get longer every week -- thinking about the leather breastplate I want to make. I bought two corset patterns today that will give me a starting point on the design. The patterns, unfortunately, are made for fabric rather than real leather suitable for realistic armor so some tinkering with the sizing will be necessary as well as fitting and seaming. Ya can't make darts in ⅛th inch thick leather! It's a good thing that the armor project is the last one on my list. This is going to take a LOT of thought and experimentation. Not to mention $$$ 'cause veg-tanned leather ain't cheap and I'm going to need a good sized piece although I can pick up the straps I'll need at Michael's for a not too outrageous price. More immediate is my need for a buckle for a two inch wide belt....

	Greetings. We're back from an uneventful trip to Greenwood. I like uneventful since "eventful" is nerve wracking at best and catastrophic at worst. Skywise and I talked about war, swords, WWII helmets (he collects them) and wandered into LARP territory on the way up. The girls are used to it, anyone else would think we're crazy....
