	I'm going to close down for the night. I've been working on one of the short stories because bits and pieces of it keep popping into my head and if I don't write them down, I'll lose them. I'm not quite sure if this one will turn out to be more humorous than serious though. I guess I'll just keep adding pieces until it's finished and I know.... Anyway, Skywise isn't home yet but I'm outta here. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Greetings. It's cold. Really cold. We had a frozen pipe this morning at the Guest House. Fortunately it was attached to the sump pump up there so it wasn't a super emergency. Now I'm getting caught up and trying to stay warm. I wish we had an underground house.....

	Back from the catfood run and most of it is put away. I've maxed out the storage space but with the weather as unpredictable as it is currently, I don't want to run out of feline food and have to make a mad dash to town to stock up when everyone else is doing the same thing. Our local Walmart seems to have a problem keeping stocked up on certain things and catfood -- or at least the brand our cats will eat -- seems to be one of those things. I guess I'm going to have to top up our supplies whenever I find what I want.

	Greetings. <---- Us. We were going to Bloomington this morning to do the grocery shopping. We got to town, got gas and turned onto the highway. JUST IN TIME we saw the line of southbound traffic wasn't just slowed 'cause of the construction zone. It was at a dead stop! We were able to get off and at one point were able to see that the backup went on for miles. So we ended up going in the opposite direction and did our shopping in Greenwood. Then we get home and I have an email waiting from the outfit I ordered the sword blade from. They got my order/check and... it will be TWO MONTHS to get it through heat treatment. If they can get one done sooner they will but I really shouldn't expect it before then. sigh At least I should have my eyes done by then or nearly so and I'll be able to start working as soon as my eyes are healed. In the meantime, I'll work on the pommel which is gonna be a bitch to carve out of nickel silver.....

	Got some news a while ago that's depressed me. It's nothing anyone can do anything about. No one in my real life has died or anything like that or is even sick but it does have an impact on my real life in a way. It's just something that's hit me in the "feels" and I'm going to have to make the best of it. Story of my life.....

	Greetings. The snow has melted and it's raining which means the ground has been reduced to muddy slop. But never fear, by the end of the day tomorrow, it will be frozen muddy slop.....� Another cold front is coming in. Shopping went off without a hitch. The only deviation from the routine was the need to drop a tire off at the auto shop to be repaired. sigh It picked up a nail when Skywise drove past a house that has had a barn burn down. It was RIGHT next to the road and the jerks didn't clean up after the demolition. This is the second tire we've had to have repaired and we're probably not the only ones. Hopefully the owners have picked up a few too.

	Oh joy! Oh bliss! Oh double ! I have an incoming migraine. I took 1000 mg of aspirin two and a half hours ago for my knees. Which means.... I can't take any Excedrine Migraine because that would overdose me on aspirin.... I can only hope that the aspirin I've already taken will blunt the migraine. I couldn't be lucky enough for it to derail it altogether....

	Still have a headache. Eyes are tired/hurting. But I have added a little to the short story I've been working on. I've also been reading in my canning book and have confirmed that salt is optional in nearly all the recipes. Which means I can add little to no salt in things I can. Yeah, getting a couple of canners (one pressure and one boiling water) is definitely on my list of "to get" stuff. I already have "I really don't know how many" canning jars up at the Guest House that my mother used and aside from needing a thorough cleaning/sterilizing most of them should be good to use -- gotta check for chips and/or cracks. Mom "put up" like a fiend and there are jars stored in every available space up there so all I'll need to buy -- aside from the canners -- are bands and lids. The bands are reusable and once I have a good supply of them all I'll need to get each year are lids. Ah.... enough of this babbling. My head and eyes are demanding that I head for a dark room and that means bedroom. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	I got a bee in my bonnet last night about making a shield to go with my sword and I finished pulling the instructions together -- from two different sources naturally -- this morning. I still have to draw up some illustrations to put in the instructions but other than that, the instructions are done. Iz happy.
