	My eyes hurt, my face hurts and my nose feels like it's full of pepper. sigh We have incoming snow tomorrow and a second wave on Friday. I'm gonna conserve some megabytes and see if that helps my eyes. Later.

	Had lunch. Time to get prone and rest my eyes. Skywise and I will be making our March appointment with the ophthalmologist next month. I hope the news is good. I don't think I can take much more of this "not being able to see clearly" business. If he says I have to wait another year, I'm gonna get a second opinion!

	It's dark -- which makes my eyes happy. It's also cold and some news stations are saying we're going to get 2 to 3 inches of snow tonight. Others are saying 1 to 3. I guess we'll have a better idea in the morning.

	The Captain America special starts in half an hour and a two hour Agent Carter comes on after that so I'm going to turn the computer off now, conserve megabytes and wallow in Marvel Goodness for three hours. Then I'll start dinner. Catch ya later.

	Have headache but it isn't as bad as it could be so no complaints from this quarter. My legs aren't hurting either which they were earlier thanks, no doubt, to the incoming storm that's all over the news.

	Chores are done, for tonight anyway. Dinner has been had and I've been catching up with my offline journal while listening to waltzes. I'm feeling better than I did this morning -- resting and zinc must have helpted -- and I'm about half changed for bed. I'm going to try to stay up until I can check the weather forecast on line and then hit the sheets. I am tired, today's long naps notwithstanding.

	Skywise is home and we've been studying weather maps. Unless things move north massively, the Blizzard of '16 is going to miss us. So I'm going to head out reasonably secure in the knowledge that we won't be under 2 feet of snow by tomorrow night. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Greetings. We went into town earlier and picked up a few things. Walmart was pretty deserted which was understandable since the Blizzard of '16 is passing to the south of us. I've been buzzing around putting stuff away, supervising the cats and getting caught up. I'm just about ready to change out of my "winter outdoor shoes" and into my inside shoes since I'm pretty sure that I won't be going outside again. Then tea and maybe a little treat....

	I am ready to tear the guts out of Tracfone's software!� I've made THREE attempts to add time to my phone and the never to be sufficiently swore at software refuses to accept my perfectly good credit card! Entering the credit card info was hell. My nose was less than three inches from the keyboard 'cause that was the only way I could see both the card and the keyboard. I'll let Skywise give it a shot when he gets home. Maybe the software will like him better and he, at least, can see.

	Well that was interesting! Three minutes after the above post went up the lights went out! And stayed out for over two and a half hours. Needless to say that put me behind in everything -- most importantly dinner. The lights came on at 6:30 but we couldn't be sure that they'd stay on -- having come on and then gone off again several times during the previous hour -- we went into town to eat. Fortunately the outage did NOT extend that far and our favorite buffet was open. We ate, came home and found the power still on. YAY! While we were eating, Skywise and I talked about retirement since the book that came in today's mail concerns that very thing. I'm happy to say we're on the same page which means that in the spring -- hopefully before or shortly after my eye surgery -- we'll get started on our "pre-retirement projects. The first being getting started on learning/doing food preservation and production. Right now, however, I'm going to get caught up and then start on the chores that I was going to do before the lights went out!

	Greetings. Well, last night I intended to go to bed right after I signed off here and shut the kitchen down. I did that, went into the bedroom to get ready for bed and discovered that SunLord had thrown up on the bed. So instead of going to bed, I was stripping the bed at 2:30 in the morning. By the time we had all the barf cleaned up, the bedclothes stripped off, the mattress cleaned as best we could and the bed remade, it was 3:30 am. I slept in this morning. The bedclothes have just finished washing and are about to be thrown in the dryer.
