	The day is winding down. It's full dark which is how it should be. Thank the Gods that DST is over for a few months! By this time Wednesday, it will all be over but the final biopsy and the followup visit on the 29th. I'm going to keep the pressure on the Universe until then. After THAT.... the Christmas Rush ! Oh happy day! Oh well, only a few more years to go until he's retired and we can actually enjoy the Christmas season....

	I'm having a hard time convincing Spirit that we do NOT need to go into town to vote tomorrow. It is the first Tuesday in November so we MUST vote! There are no elections going on in Indiana this year......

	Well, Skywise didn't get home until 3:30 so our planned meat buying expedition was cancelled. I have no idea when or if we'll be able to get steaks for my birthday. Everything would have been so much simpler if he'd been able to be on vacation this week.....

	Dinner's cooking and we should be eating in half an hour. I can't have anything to eat or drink, including water, after midnight so I'm going to "overeat" a bit tonight. I won't be able to eat until sometime after the procedure which is scheduled for approximately 12 hours from now. I'm babbling. Shutting up now.

	Afternoon. We went on an "expedition" this morning and gathered the rest of what I needed for my birthday dinner. So "dinner" is saved! Skywise is suitably impressed with the meat shop and we'll likely be going back to sample their wares. It is relatively easy to get to, just north of the airport off of West Washington Street.

	Afternoon. We're back from town and I'll finish my cake as soon as the shortening softens. I just ordered Skywise a hardcover copy of the Necronomicon. Bookworms (the kind that eat books rather than read them) have gotten into his paperback edition so.... we sprung for a hardcover with better quality paper.

	Skywise is eating his main course. The steaks -- despite what the thermometer said, -- came out "rare". I ate mine as it was, Moonie and Skywise ran theirs through the microwave. That may be how I'll have to do it -- sear them on the grill pan and finish them in the microwave. Since it's after 2 am, I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.
