	LP came in last night looking like he'd been in a brawl and Skywise found spatters of blood -- obviously from scratching wounds he already had -- on the table where he'd been napping yesterday. Since the weather has been lousy today, LP stayed in. He didn't protest too much, especially since the others stayed in too. I would imagine that his body is sore as well as his head which took most of the damage. We'll be keeping him in for as long as we can.

	LP must be feeling better. He's being a bit more insistent about being let out. Worked on editing the lesson transcript. I hate it when he throws in names/terms I can't spell or find with research. 	I've done some work on my coursework tonight after dinner. I've found one term I needed (it would help enormously if my teacher was a little more careful with his pronunciation) but two others are proving elusive. 	Afternoon. I've been trying to track down a name for my coursework and... I found the name that sounds like what my teacher said but it doesn't seem to fit the context. I may have to give up on it and put a (?) next to what it sounds like. Made an appointment for an eye exam. I really need new glasses and my doctor wants my retinas checked since I do have Type 2 diabetes.

	Afternoon. Skywise got home at 4:30 this morning. Needless to say, we got a late start and our plans got rearranged. Fortunately, I plan for such things. We went into town to eat and now he's on the way to work while I work on getting my cognitive functions up to speed.

	I've been off my feet as much as possible today. Rain = pain, ya know. It hasn't helped much and I'm trying to avoid painkillers. I've got a ways to go before my surgery and I don't want to build up a tolerance for the OTC stuff. So, I hobble around and deal with it.

	Book I was waiting for today finally arrived. Amazon's new tracking system is useless. That or the driver didn't log in as he/she should have. Anyway, I now have a paperback backup copy of a book I'll be using a lot and since my original copy is a hardback, I don't have to worry as much about breaking the spine and having the pages fall out....

	I have four lessons left to edit/correct. One in particular requires inserting eight different illustrations. Oh happy day. I hope I can finish these lessons while Skywise is recovering from surgery. I know I won't be able to work on them while I'm recovering from my own -- I won't be able to sit at the computer for hours at a time. Doing that is difficult now... We'll see how it goes.
