Morning!

The TV movie was really good. My favorite Cdn actor didn't play a major role in it but the story line of it was excellent and the way it was done was VERY Canadian...

It's another scorcher today, high temps and high humidity. Thank the stars for FANS and AC!!

Time to get another coffee and check my SP Pets in another tab, and get caught up of course... Cheesy

Morning!  Nice wake up this morning, and now we're just sort of hanging out relaxing.  Debating if I want to work today LOL  It would be spending money, but a day off would be nice too.

Afternoon.
We've been home for a couple of hours and I've been getting caught up and going over a pile of paper that the SSA wants filled out for Spirit. They apparently don't realize that there is NO "rehabilitation" for someone with autism. *sigh* Damned bureaucrats! To make matters worse, the paperwork arrived yesterday, the 6th, and they want it back by the 9th.  Smiley Smiley Would it have killed them to have mailed it so we had just a "little" more time to get this done?  Smiley

I'm back!!

That was my reaction Penth... I just about FREAKED when I heard the squealing... Turns out the CPU fan was BLOCKED with dust and wasn't working at all. Ten minutes blowing dust out of the CPU fan with the compressor and it seems to be working fine now. *FINGERS CROSSED*

I'm keeping an eye on the darn thing though. The last thing I need right now is to either rebuild the stupid computer again or buy a new one... Roll Eyes

So wow... just wow...

I've decided that Uni is trying to get all the crappy parts of relationships out of the way real fast so that we can do the happily ever after thing... yeah... last night was... interesting.

No fighting between us.  But my ex-GF?  Yeah... she crashed hard last night, and came off what was apparently a binge.  She went off.  Is still going off.  And yup... J learned that I was right.  And we're closer now because of it.

At least you are getting it out of the way with dispatch. That is something.

I've been very carefully reading this SSA paperwork that I have to fill out. I "think" I have it figured out. I'm going to fill most of it out in pencil, have Skywise check it and then ink it. Since it is mostly "check the box" it "shouldn't' be too complicated.

Yes, I plan to run it through the copier before I seal it up!

Ugh, paperwork!! We have to renew our son's disability in 2014 (every 5 years) and it drives me nuts!

It would be nice if the bureaucrats would get it through their thick heads that no amount of treatment, medication or therapy will "cure" autism. You can make some progress while the kids are young but "cure" just isn't in the cards. Neither is "normal life." At least not yet.

I know it. People up here are trying to get things changed in Ottawa but so far, it's not working yet. Hopefully it will be recognized as a life long condition and the laws will be changed in my lifetime.
